Making up for lost time
Pretty much settled in our new home. Gained an extra kid, hehe 2007 birthday gift so Jess calls but actually you know lar, she really wanted Potion so we had to buy her for my 29th birthday.
Our newest kid together with King Wigan made grandkids. We had 6 but 3 were stillborn. Last 3 grew up strong and healthy and went to new homes... Miss them lots, esp Mr Kim Mor who looks exactly like his dad. Total carbon copy of temperament, behaviour, playfulness and he's mummy's best friend too.
Potion's up to no-good as usual.. cos now she is very free cos no puppies to fuss over. Naughtier than ever and does her infamous rabbit run dance to annoy and piss off Magic. She's been a chewer. Chewed up my Treo HP case and bit the charger.
Magic now has 2 beds, a "day-bed" in the living room and "night-bed" which she sleeps on at night in the bedroom. She's coming 9 this year but her skin problem is quite worrying. Anyway it seems to bother us more than it bothers her!
Let me list down the titles that has been bestowed by yours truly to our furred friends, in ranking order of course!
1) Dowager Magic
2) King Wigan (was Prince Wigan)
3) Queen Potion (was Princess Potion)
4) Lady Diamond (My family's other schaunzer and Potion's best pal)
5) Duke Opel (Lilian's dog, cocker-schaunzer mix, was Lord Opel)
6) Prince Peanut (May's silky with floppy ears and broom tail, was Jester Peanut)
7) Prince Donut (May's 2nd dog and Peanut's blood brother but he's a Silky in Sausage dog. Untitled)

Nasty neck strain and mood
Everything is just so annoying now. The constant rain the past few days makes it worse. It's hard to walk the babies and as a result, the cold weather has given them tummy-aches as well as accidents around the house.
My neck strain means I can't do my weights. Sigh.

Freaking annoyed =.=
1) Someone want to go some stupid dance event, and on the same weekend, I had invited her to go see women golf (Lexus Cup) she don't want. KNN some stupid ticket thing for dance she got cheek to ask me whether I want to go. HELLO? Do I look as if I would go? And best thing is, she denies it all that her STUPID group of friends not important. Bugger off to them please.
2) Bedok (Central) Wet Market is closed from 11-15th Dec. I made a wasted trip down. Went to NTUC (un)happily to shop for my stuff. On the good side, I managed to get beef and salmon?

Itchy eyes weekend
The infectious itchy eyes both of us got meant that we missed 2 weddings. I don't think it would be fair for us to go to the wedding for the sumptous meal and infect all the guests, and worse still, infect the bride and bridegroom.
Wigan's back today, after his stay at my folks.
I had been having horrible heat rash all over my upper back, at the neck area.
Both dogs are back to their naughty selves. Oh did I mention, Magic was an angel alone. Both were quarrelling again about territorial stuff (which includes us I guess) and Wigan has grown alot furrier! Hmm time for a grooming session soon!

Nasty grey prawns
Well, they gave me these nasties. Glad they are cheap though. $7 per kilo and a kilo yielded 66 small buggers.

Oooo Dad called up. He's borrowing Wigan for the weekend, to surprise my Mom. So sweet of him. I think I would pack some food for Mr Wigan the-good-boy-who-pleases-my-mom :)

My Wishlist for Xmas!
Check out the above URL. Nice stuff eh? Hehehe Just wistful thinking anyway. I would love a nice T-shirt but it seems very expensive for some cotton top.
Went to Petfolio today to get some pellets for the babies. We had run almost dry of pellets, so I took a 15 min walk down to buy some. Bought back same brand- Eagle Pack. Really solid brand of pellets, quality wise and all. Rebought the same one we tried earlier as well as a different kind. Also bought some breathe-chewers for them. The non-chicken type. Smells very strong and herb-like. Lady at pet shop also threw in a toy dumb-bell which squeaks and Wigan is now possessively biting the 'weights'. Magic couldn't really hold on to the toy for long though. Not sure whether she likes it.
I also saw many nice puppies for sale. 2 month old Female MS is for sale at 1,600$! OMG! So expensive.. She sleeps like Wigan though, head on pillow. She also seems huge, like a 3/4 month old size. There were also some terriers and some cutesy short-hair chihuahuas(only available for booking though)!
Our babies are very lucky and small jiejie came over 2 days in the row to visit: Tuesday and yesterday! She actually managed to take a picture of them both, LOOKING at camera!
And how did small jiejie do that? She tuck the squeaking banana toy under her armpit and pressed it continuously to get their attention. ROFL!
Cooking their beef meal now. GTG. :)

It's a bright and sunny today
in contrast to last week which was raining almost everyday. Hopefully today will remain sunny and cheery.
Yesterday, my folks came over to vist (the dogs). Magic and Wigan are delighted. Wigan's getting very manga (sticky( nowadays and insist on lying near me, on my foot. Last night he wouldn't sleep on his own bed and sneakily shimmied up against me several times.. Jess and I hardly had a good n ight's rest.
Since last week was raining alot, there's nothing much we could do. Daily walks were delayed and here's a picture of the common positions adopted by both of them. Wigan likes to shimmy up and lie on big jiejie's foot.
Magic's usual position on the sofa, whilst she waits for other big jiejie to get back.
Wigan sometimes join in the wait.
Tried to take them both waiting for big jiejie, but Wigan will hear none of it and he refuses to look at camera!

Wigan home again home again, we miss you so
Magic misses Wigan, she sits by the door, wondering where is he. She has no one to make her angry, snatch her toys, sayang her on the beard, cuddle her by snuggling her ear, helping to groom her toes and privates...
We miss Wigan too. Part of me was incredulous about the whole saga and had that large "HOW COULD YOU". Dog-napping was tramautic for us. I couldn't sleep well and missed his goofy grin.
But he's home today. Thank goodness. I am glad, and exhausted but not quite ready to forgive?
He came back with a very bad diahorrea. His stools were a liquidy nutella.. :( and very smelly... apparently my dad decided that he hadn't had enough calcium and fed him milk. Lactose intolerence got him running. :(
Hope the toast bread is going to make him better. My poor baby :(

Delicious Saturday
We had a really good on Saturday, even though we got caught in the rain. Firstly, we had our favourite niang doufu brunch! Lovely! And Horror of horrors, the stock is made from beef.... Z_Z
Then we took a bus down, wanting to go Parkway, we met our very handsome friend's gf, she's on the way to a church wedding of our friend's. Small world. :D Then it started raining heavily.. :( We were caught in the rain whilst making our way from the bus-stop to Roxy Square. New Paper was totally drenched.
Then we window-shopped a little at Parkway. But before doing so, we changed our tops buy purchasing a new one at Bossini's. Sam Yick's looking funny. They segregated the doggy/catty side from their other side. Wonder why anyway.
We were bored, so settled down at the wine shop which we always pass by but never buy stuff from it. Had a bottle of Merlot and it work wonders against the cold weather. Topped up with 100g of lovely figs and bought ourselves the new issue of 'Delicious' and New Paper (again) to browse. Drank much of the afternoon away.
Then Jess had inspiration from the cooking magazine Delicious and whipped up a fantastic meal! Here are some photos of it!

was a splurge, we went to Jumbo Seafood to eat Pepper crabs... and naughtily took taxi back. lol. Indulgence!!! I was in town earlier to meet my insurance agent, then played a little WOW before meeting Jess for dinner :)

Sigh, no nice MacGames for me
Well, I scoured Funan IT mall, nothing nice. Next best thing is Quake 4, which I don't want to buy.
Today brought Wigan to Vet,... only to realise I was too early for his vaccination. Silly eh? It's 1 year from the last jab, not "1 YEAR OLD WIGAN" hehe.
BBQ last Saturday:
Was a blast! My chicken curry was godlike and the bottom was cleaned fast! Glad that most food was polished up. They liked the seasoned BBQ stuff too. Well, I am proud to say I didn't serve my guests 'trash' bbq food such as processed sausages. Hell, there wasn't even satay! Just good old seafood, pork chops. Some of them liked the banana leaf wrapped stingray ^^
The bbq pit upstairs is swell to work with, with the washbasin right beside it makes it super convenient. Jess and I were thinking of booking the pit next time... for our own private use. ;)
Most of our guests brought nice red wine as gifts for us. Now we have 3 bottles of red wine (cos drank 1 bottle le) left. hehehehe
Our "Very Handsome Friend" introed us to Sparkling Rose, needless to say we were quite hooked onto it and had 2 more bottles within a week! Gasp! What to do? Cheap and good and NICE!! Slurp!
Bad Magic Poor Wigan
Well, without warning, Magic gave our "Very Handsome Friend"'s girlfriend a big bite on her finger... it turned septic... :( We feel so bad. Ended up both were banished to the yard for the rest of the BBQ day... Poor Wigan. He was so well behaved and didn't pounce/jump on any of our guests... Magic's bite was vicious..... I mean, usually you would see it coming. This time it was really out of nowhere.... And it was her 2nd bite of the day, first one was on DY's socked feet. :(
Last Friday was Jess' birthday!
Well, cooked her very special menu as follows:
1) Flavoured red potatoes with mayo filling and caviar dressing
2) Crab and prawns steamed in chicken broth
3) Prommery Champagne
Glad she liked it! ^^
So, anyone want to hire me to cook for them? [I am serious about it] I will go to the wet market to gather the freshest ingredients and go to your abode to cook for you (and your special one as you may so wish).

Inspirational rubbish!
Well, as we had purchased our wine glasses from Ikea, cheap and fragile, to-date, we had broken 4 glasses.
Jess broke 2 glasses (1 white and 1 red wine glass each) whilst washing them. Thankfully she wasn't hurt. Then it followed by 1 white wine glass that I accidentally knocked it over whilst it was drying on the rack. Then the latest one was a knock from a NZ wine bottle that cracked the red wine glass I was drinking from. We were quite shocked... and moreover, when the red wine glass cracked, it had a sickeninng sound. Horrible lor.
Glass that I broke whilst it was drying on rack. Decided to decorate it with some mucus-laden tissues and carrot skins :P
Today is Jess BBQ/Birthday/gathering for her pals. Hope everything goes fine... I hope I didn't miss out anything. Bought loads of fresh Shitake mushroom from Carrefour as well as some alcohol.
Yesterday we had seafood dinner- Crabs, Prawns and cutsy potato dish, topped up with Pommery Champagne. Glad Jess liked it. :D

What do babies do when they are tired?
They sleep! Here are some pictures of them, before and after grooming. They like to lie near the computer area, where I spend much of my afternoon time on.
Magic before grooming, at her usual spot. She's not at all shy of showing her (10) very sexy doggy nipples!
Furry Wigan blocking the small passage way that allows jiejie to leave her seat.
Both exhausted from the grooming session. Note that Magic is rested at her favourite area, unless Wigan occupies it.
Camera click and flash woke Magic up, Wigan indifferent to it and continues snoozing!
I do miss their furry selves..... :( So wolfy like and huggly.... But Wigan's very macho chest hair is full of knots.... He's such a messy boy!

Finally.... :)
We bought Wigan and Magic their birthday gifts yesterday!!!!! Belated gift for Wigan and early birthday gift for Magic. Magic's totally delighted and she made herself comfortable on the doggy bed we bought them. And Magic can tell you where is her bed in the bedroom if you ask her,"Magic, where's your BED?" and she will scuttle anxiously to sit on it to show ownership! lol
Wigan knows it's his but haven't really started using it. We figured that they will find it more comfortable sleeping in their own bed than on ours as there isn't much space and secondly, they want both jiejies to hug them, so both jiejies can't hug each other *doh*. So, despite being rushed for time (parents coming over at 7pm-ish) we made our way down to Simei to do some really quick shopping.
We bought them identical beds because we want to be fair parents.. :P
