I realised~
That quite a few of my overseas pals are back in SG! w00t! Welcome back! And I haven't blogged for ages after my silly fall.
Well, my right knee's totally recovered and my itchy hands have started peeling the scabs off. My left knee is however not as fortunate. Besides leaking that pus-y looking stuff, it hasn't really got to the stage of lesser pain. It still hurts when I walk, and it doesn't help when my office isn't exactly near.
Anyway, it's a nice sunday today. A tad sleepy after getting up at 7.45am just to walk Magic. A good thing I supposed as she couldn't control her urgency and let go of her urine on the lift landing >.< She refused to pee the whole day yesterday! So naughty. She's putting her head on the floor now as no one's at home except me on the comp and Jess sleeping soundly on the bed. Magic took up like half my bed by lying spread-open on it. As much as we tried, we couldn't push her away. So there's three of us, huddled together in a tiny super-single sized sofa bed.
Saturday = betted wrongly day.
As Jess couldn't go into the toto-shop, I went in. We had actually wanted to buy a draw, then decided to buy 3 goals. Anyway, we just thought we bought the draw? Funny. Jess was outside with Magic whilst I went in to encash our England-Portugal winnings. I walked Magic earlier in the morning but she refused to urinate despite doing a few postures of peeing. Same thing for evening walk. Wonder what she's up to anyway.
We had the lovely turtle soup for lunch @ Guillemard road. Then took a taxi down to Parkway to do another round of GSS shopping. As OP was on sale, Jess bought me a nice pair of Bermudas. Thanks Jess! :) And bought herself a lovely skirt. We then walked around to shop for Jess spectacles and she finally got herself 1 frameless pair. Anyway, she stopped stealing mine eversince I lost my black ones. :P We went grocery shopping, then walked down to Sam Yick to look at poor few days old guinea pigs for sale. Felt sad as they may have looked really strong but are only few days old. FYI, guinea pigs are born open-eyed and fully furred and are able to eat solid food since birth... But to sell them so soon was -.- There weren't much dogs to look at, so we left the place quickly.
Jess decided that she wanted to get some stuff to hang at her handphone. So off we went to walk back to Parkway. +_+ We bought some jade cutesy stuff from a shop which sells precious stones and crystals. Funny as she said,"Hey, there's a turtle on it" in mandarin, so I went,"WU GUI WANG BA" The shop lady turned around and said,"WU GUI CHANG MING!!! NOT WU GUI WANG BA" ooops... Then went MPH and then go home and walked that silly dog to toto-shop. We slept pretty early though.. Was too tired to do anything else.... no thanks to my painful knee.

Well, I played a set of 2s. We beat mVp 4-1. GG mVp. They are great mannered clan except for 1. Wanted to go MoX on Friday but was soooo tired after waiting for Magic's arrival. We missed her!!!! For work wise, it was WY's last day. Sat was a tad spoilt with someone kaning me, but I don't care ^_^ Monday ate dinner at that nice duck place (xiao dian er) with a few of my colleagues and Jess joined us. Was supposed to be a pool session but my knee basically made it a no-no. Probably postponed it.

bloody day
It's a bloody day for me literally as I fell on the way back from Gain City carrying my mom's brand new industrial fan. ZzzZZ My left knee was totally cleaned out of the skin right knee had some surface scratches. Now my left kneecap is soaked in ribena and no amount of drying will stop the liquid from flowing. Occasionally blood and then mostly the clear liquid... Probably the white bloodcells doing work. I am now wondering how do I go to work tomorrow in my work pants as it's definitely going to stain my pants. Some luck. Hope it works out for better for my very outrageous soccer bets. >.<
Ok, here's how I fell for those who are mildly interested in the embarassing moment. Well, we crossed the road (my mom and I), as I was lugging the oversized box in front of me, it meant I couldn't really see my toes. Then left foot made up the pavement, but somehow slipped and my right foot was behind the step, then I was actually balancing myself but the weight of the fan was too much to bear, so I tumbled down due to the weight. Yes, the box and me fell and I skidded on my left knee. Lots of blood came out. -.- It's hurting like hell. And my mom gleedfully rubbed some alcohol onto the huge one during Shrek -.-
Anyway, glad that my sis and mom enjoyed Shrek. I think they would enjoy Shrek 2 more. :)

A tiring eventful day!
After much procrastination, we finally did what we been wanting to do. Selling off the spare comp (spoilt AGP slot BTW), some RAM chips and my 64mb GFX card. Some ripoff because he quoted me $5 for my gfx card. So I took it back instead. He gave me rest for $50. I couldn't be bothered about anything and just took the $50 and left the shit with him. On hindsight, I should have sold the SDRAM earlier. They are close to worthless anyway now.
We used the money to buy my mom's Majong (san que yi) game as well as two mousepads. My mom bargained with the shop for the barracuda and the Lian-in aluminium pad. By far the Barracuda is a better buy IMO as there's the non-slip thingy on the bottom but the Aluminium pad is gosu except for the screeching sound. I intend to entertain myself at work with the aluminium pad thus I bought it. :p Mom managed to bargain for $3.50 less at a fixed prices stall. Hee hee.
After we bought the mousepads, I wanted to go Temple as intended. But Jess just got off work, so mom opted to go OG for shopping whilst we window-shopped around the area at the temple (si ma lu) to wait for Jess to come. Then managed to persuade my sis to pray at temple (initially she didn't want to) Gave thanks and asked for career luck :)
After that we looked around some shops as my sis wanted to get bermudas... Weather was unforgivable and we were starving! After we bought some stuff at the crystal shop (some career boosting ornaments) we quickly walked down to Bugis Parco for Sakae but not before buying 10 Fuji Apples and a packet of grapes. Settled down after persuading my mom to eat Sakae. She was quite reluctant. Also persuaded my sis and mom to get the Bento sets instead of the Dons as it's much more worth it. It's a shame that they took off the Agedashi Tofu though. :D My mom really like the Teriyaki Chicken and by far it's one of the better Bentos at Sakae. I had udon, Sis had Chicken Katsu Bento and Jess had Oyako Don. Before that had some coloured and 1 red plate. Disappointment for the Salmon sashimi as it's warm. Not surprising as there are bright orange lamps above the conveyor belt and we were there for a late lunch. Wouldn't know how long the Sashimi has been rotating. :[
I think today we "dua" a lot of people.... Because we were so tired and slept the afternoon away. Haven't replied to a friend who has a room party. Maybe pop by and stay over or something :)
Yesterday was fun~
Jess bought one of the most amazing phones in Singapore. The sleek, extremely sexy nokia 6230. It has a video cam inside. Yum! And not to mention the resolution is the same 65k as my Samsung T100. Lovely. At first Jess was feeling rather sore about getting the phone. But with the ongoing offer at M1 for upgraders as well as free gifts and most importantly a free 128mb MMC card, why not? The card is a lovely gift which we didn't have to pay for. We also bought some wine and cheese at Cold storage. We took taxi back but not before purchasing a few books at MPH as it was cheap and Jess managed to find her long-wanted book "Key of Valour" Took a cab back from Parkway and played scrabble and Jess was owning me most of the time until I got a triple word score and Jess had to deduct 20 points for her non-placement of Q and Z. That was some unbalanced game. I had all the Us (used 2 on board, 3 more on hand) and none of any alphabets with 5 points and above. That means no K, J, X, Q or Z. ZzzzzZZ But my monopoly of Us gged her :p

Hot hot hot
Well, all I can say is, I spent the whole day on one blardy thing... some fk. But heck it. Nice sis cooked dinner for mom and me! :) I ate little as I had a nice heavy lunch at a nice eatery.
Today we met up with shadowfax, our friend which we haven't met for years! Had a good time at a lovely eatery and we gave her a treat because her birthday is tomorrow. If you are reading this: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
GSS DAY! on Wednesday!
Yesterday went shopping all over place. Was supposed to buy my jacket for office ended up spent more money on her shopping >.< My jacket was on discount at B.I.R.D and was really a good deal. Almost half price. :)
Then dinner at chicken rice @ Far East Plaza. That was nice :)
Jess came down to meet me and my colleagues for lunch.. We had lunch at a cheap and nice jap place. Air-conditioned some more.. Comfy lunch.. But alas, the walk there isn't very comfy. It was sweltering hot and testing our patience. So, lucky I had 3 beautiful ladies for company for lunch. ^_^
Then best thing of yesterday was that we rounded it off with a cheap bottle of white wine and 2 hours of CSI. Yum! Nice~ Plus we watched the chef show which featured Singapore's food. To be honest, I think there are loads more good food not featured.. Singapore is truly food paradise ^^v

Monday blues~
Well, much of it negated because I got my money back. It looked as if my credit card company reversed it but I really don't care as long I don't have to pay. Eng Wah some fag company. Well, I am NOT going to go there ANYMORE. They don't even respond to my email, and I had to resort to calling and filing a complaint with my credit card company. Yes, it may be for a miserly $35, but I won't pay for something I cannot consume.
Now feeling rather lonely as Jess is not with me... Haiz, the bad points of sticky rice. I am pleasantly surprised that in clan league they had played 2 more sets and we are 3:0 up against team RI. Real proud of them.
I caught Fear Factor Couple challenge. Was real gleeful that those 2 snob stuck-ups lost their lovely jeeps. w00t. Then now am watching CSI. I think CSI is real nice... they really have nice plots and all. :)

OK, bad me >.<
Well, was supposed to go temple yesterday but skipped the trip because was so darn tired.
Jess met me at my office and we walked to Chinatown whilst munching on Dough Fritters (You Tiao). Yum! Not bad, we didn't get lost as we wanted to go People's Park Complex to book a holiday for 2 for our July weekend break. We were in 2 minds, hardly could make up our mind... Ended up back to square one. Book our own accomodation there and tickets at Tanah Merah Ferry terminal. That was after much late-night discussion split between KL, Camearon Highlands and Bintan Island.
We didn't and didn't even do anything much. Came back on bus from Bugis after Sakae Sushi lunch (yum) and Jess fell asleep after watching CSI on AXN. I didn't sleep until after dinner.... Slept after watching a bit of cooking show on Channel U. We played scrabble before that but was so sleepy. >.<
Well, finally tasted the Sea Urchin's eggs at Sakae (they finally had stock!) Well, nothing that unusual except I get to boast that I have eaten it before... Expensive stuff.. 2 sushi potion for $6.50. Oh well. -.- Anyway, give me the male crab's equivalent part anytime. That tastes nicer :p

Ok, I better do this before more damage is inflicted.
Sometime yesterday early morning, my hotmail account is being hacked. My password doesn't work and the worse thing is that I cannot reset my password because I can't remember what I wrote for my secret question's answer. I am not surprised the hacker changed the ans/question to that secret thingy.
I am quite dead unless someone can help me retrieve my hotmail. I need my MSN to contact my friends and WC buddies for games.
Anyone with suggestions pls post them under tag-board or comments. Thanks.

Wow it's Wednesday already!
I trust everyone's doing fine, especially readers of the blog(s). Well, I am feeling much better today. :) I didn't wake up with a cruciating pain in my abdomen area. I was off to a slow start at work and picking up pace in reading case files.
Feeling regretful about throwing away the not-so-cooked cob of corn. [sigh] now starving and stomach gave out loud hunger pangs.
Went to the WC earlier and released some really nasty looking and smelling stuff. Stomach pain >.< I am not feeling any better despite wearing my pullover as I am freezing in the office.
Probably going to try to settle a few league games tonight if I do get back early enough. Do have a few appointments after work today.

Been really ill and sickly
I think today is the only day I actually didn't have the stomach-ache the whole day. But nevertheless, the breaks I had were helpful. The pain wasn't really helping me at all. I think I haven't gotten out of the house since Thursday? Geez.
Today's my cousin's wedding day
It wasn't that pleasant as my cousin in law was quite rude and obnoxious. He serve tea din even call my parents Auntie;Uncle. Then his face so black when he serve tea. Zzzz So rude lor. Apparently I heard that my cousin is pregnant (yes.... but not shotgun because ROM 3 years ago) and that he DOESN'T want to even throw a dinner. Well in the end they just had a buffet lunch and invite all the relatives to come over for gathering. Then the unpleasantries continued as my mom's siblings refused to give more ang pao money because they can't go (previously went for a funeral) and it's just a buffet and not wedding dinner. And to think they are so rich? Well, not rich enough in their heart I guess.
Well, I never seen a bridegroom so nasty looking before. Hope I am not so nasty looking when I get married. So scary. Machiam the black thunderous clouds are over his head and shadowing him! Creepy!
Talking about weddings... I think we better take our wedding pictures soon... if not wait old le and wrinkled take le very ugly. :p

I have been poisoned!!!~
in my tummy!!!! SOS! I was in such pain on Tuesday morning that I lay crouched on the sofa seat after wobbling to the toilet to ease myself. I am quite sure I was going to faint should I shower. :(
Anyway, spent most of the day crouching in pain and sitting crouched on my chair in front of my computer. Barely amused myself with the giant mealworms which I have shown Jess. She wants nothing to do with those cuties.
Anyway, let's welcome my sis. I heard from my mom she's touching down on Thursday 2330 and Star's going to fetch her. Cool! Hope she's not overwhelmed by the weather. ^_^
