On the contrary..
We didn't go back to cook. Jess ended work late (some silly urgent matter may I add) so we went to Taka to walk walk. Actually wanted to go Jackson centre, but decided against it because it is a Monday and many shops may be closed!
Then took a walk around cold storage with the intention to buy additional ingredients to add to our dinner. But was feeling so lazy, plus it was so late, so decided to go "Shang Hai Xiao La Mian" to eat! We were seated beside an obnoxious BOASTFUL AND HAOLIAN couple. Geez. -.-"
Anyway, after dinner, we walked to Heeren to shop a little. We bought our "Bro-in-law" a nice pair of Nike bermudas (early birthday gift). Hope he likes them. >.< Then Jess found a nice "Mu" shop and bought herself a white top.
Then we took taxi home from the 'secret' taxi stand ^_^
After reaching home, we walked Magic and Jess accidentally stepped on some dried-up urine/excreta. She was insisting that I smelt her smelly hand but (un)fortunately, I had a terrible blocked nose. Ended up she had to take (early) shower and was feeling much better after that.
I played a couple of ATs, enjoyed myself. Then sis told me that she's being interviewed. Awwww why didn't they interview the most powerful female gamer in Singapore? HAHAHHAHA

PHEW!
Well, the groomer is still around! ^^ I am so happy! They were closed/busy on Friday and that would explain why we couldn't get them the whole of Friday. Jess called once on Saturday! And woola! They answered. Bad news is, she's fully booked for the weekend (27-28Aug) so we booked a slot for little baby Magic next weekend, 3rd Sept 3pm. :D
Friday
Well, we were in the end-of-week mood and went on a little shopping spree at Bugis before we went back home on Friday. Let's see, we bought:-
1) 3 VCDs (Million Dollar Baby; The Interpreter and Be With You *Japanese movie*)
2) Newman Magazine Sep Issue and a book (From Kinokuniya)
3) A pair of heels from Americaya
4) 4 items from the G2000/U2 S$19 sale-per-piece outside Seiyu Bugis. 2 pairs of pants (for me; but haven't cut yet so cannot wear), 1 skirt and 1 top (for Jess)
Well, that's about it... >.<
Went back home and had a 3 course dinner topped with a nice bottle of chilled white wine. Waaaa so full! And watched Million Dollar Baby (and wept some tears)
Saturday & Sunday
were mainly soccer days. So nothing much. We were determined to cook (as we ate roast meat for lunch) for dinner and so we did. We cooked our long-ago Sirloin steak and had a jolly good time. The Taylor's red wine is good ^^ Watched a couple of soccer games. Then halfway through playing dota/watching soccer got super stomach ache. Ate too much Konaku(SP) you see. Greedy me. Then slept so late because after soccer we watched "Be with you" lor. Then WEEP MORE TEARS! >.<
I also watched the Spurs game and really hoped they had won/drew. Guess not. Man U won, with 2 goals in 2nd half. Glad they are keeping up with the table-toppers.
Ok, back to work.... I wana go home and rest. Miss my MAGIC BABY! WHAT'S SHE DOING NOW? *wonders*

Going home... and where to groom Magic?
Well, I think I am right after all, Magic's regular groomer no longer around? [sigh] Anyway, now we are thinking of where to send Magic for grooming. Probably send her to one of the pet shops at Parkway. Hopefully they treat her well. She's quite a naughty and pampered dog.
Magic's chalet overnight stay at Marcus' house
Well, Marcus (My sis' current squeese) had taken Magic home on Wednesday as Tiger (his domesticated-wild tabby) ran away from hom- FOR GOOD. So kind me decided to let Magic stay over his place. Apparently she's very naughty, and refused to let any of his parents enter his room. His twin brother, however, is indifferent. Magic kept barking at hime and he shut her up by holding her muzzle. LOL! Magic is owned!
Then when Magic and Marcus sleep at night, she kept stepping/climbing all over Marcus' blanket covered body. [hiking she thinks to herself] and fell onto the floor as she lost her balance. Marcus woke up, picked her up, put her back on bed, but she couldn't sleep! So Marcus held her at her position, and slowly, both "M"s fell asleep. Awwww
The next day (Thursday), Marcus' maid complained that Magic is very naughty. She keep running in and out of the house. How she is naughty by doing so? Well, she ran out to the garden; ran around the garden; then ran back into Marcus' room and JUMPED on Marcus' bed. Well, that's not all, she did that repeatedly. LOLX So naughty and lovable don't you think. Oh, MAGIC BABY, NOW THE WEE FAMILY HATES YOU! YOU CAN'T BE THEIR BRIDESMAID "NAILS-IN-WAITING" IF LILING JIEJIE AND MARCUS KORKOR GETS MARRIED >.<

Anyway, tried to get Magic's groomers but no one answer. Has the worst happened????
Jess is feeling better so I am much relieved that she's not ill anymore. She's just only had the anti-biotics course to finish and she will be as good as ever.

BURP!
Just came back from lunch with my Aunt. She treated me to 5-course lunch and we had a solid chat about stuff. Mainly catching up and all. Let's see, our lunch had:-
1) Tom Yam Soup (some mushrooms, tomatoes and sliced fish. No squid or prawn. Weird)
2) Golden mushroom with cabbage (it was wong bak actually)
3) Sliced fish in mango sauce (it's nice, but same sliced fish in tom yam -.-)
4) Fried beancurd (the one inside got filling, quite nice)
5) Fruits
and rice of course. Wa, eat until bloated. We had these at the restaurant at Boat Quay facing the river. Then later walked to 7-11 to buy lottery. My Aunt says she doesn't know how to buy, but anyway, asked me, so I helped her buy $2 'Big' quickpick 4-D. Bought my lucky numbers and the next day's toto. Trotted back to work. :D So here I am, feeling full!

Poor Jess
I think the flu is bad! She's having her fever on and off, so she's taking half day off (in lieu of Saturday work day). Guess she's going back first ba. Lucky Magic then, she would be so glad jiejie's back to take care of her. Then Magic will take care of this ill jiejie and GROWL fiercely at anyone who dares go near this sleeping sick jiejie.
Hope she gets well soon! Flu flu go away don't ever come again another day!

Well, it's Wednesday but I didn't watch any mid-week soccer last night. hehehehe. Well, really glad that EPL is back. :) Magic's naughty again this morning.... sigh, I think I have to put her back on the leash le.
So happy that I brought my mouse to work. So much more comfortable/convenient..
Hmmm B* isn't in yet. wonder whether he's coming in. Hope nothing happen to him.
Today Jess is supposed to go RTC for that silly event again. Was quite mad with her last week because it took up 2 evenings and she had fell ill over the weekend. Guess I was too harsh also? Sigh...
Just had phonecall, am aeroplaned for lunch. What to do????

Parents off to Genting! w00t!
Well, they went off last night, abeit a little quarreling as usual. Apparently the return tickets to Chiang Mai which I helped my mom booked on Sunday were real cheap. They had risen a close to additional $100 when my mom tried to book yesterday. Reason why she couldn't book all the needed tickets on Sunday? Well, some fags couldn't decide on whether they wanted to go. Well, if you are wondering, the trip's in October, so I am pretty sure your god-damn applied leave wouldn't be REJECTED.
Then suddenly another 7 jokers are going as well. I was rather worried for my mom as she was paying first and seeking reimbursement later. Prior to that, my big mouthed dad was bragging that the trip cost < S$130. Obviously he had not calculated the taxes etc (which will not be known until you reach the payment page where you have to key in your credit card #) and suddenly they realised that the trip was close to $200 (before Monday's non-discounted price) Then when a phonecall came in my dad bragged again:-
1) BOOK MORE CAN GET CHEAPER ONE
2) DON'T WORRY DON'T WORRY SURE CAN GET SEATS ONE (in dialect) [as if he owns the airline company]

Already so f*king pissed with him on Sunday because he was screaming at us to 'give up' our comps for them (to do online booking) as we were playing tower wars. I mean, what's the blardy hurry when he doesn't even know WHO'S GOING?? He has ZERO-PLANNING, NO ORGANISATION SKILLS etc. And my mom's so pissed as he doesn't know how long the tour would take at Chiang Mai, how many people going, their names and NRIC etc, then how to book? You think what? Open-ended tickets?? Whole of Sunday morning keep screaming at my mom to book airline tickets. Anyway, since I was so annoyed the whole last week till today so I had to write it here!!! @@

My fusion salad last night and Magic's bout of naughtiness
I boiled baby squid, together with salad greens and smoked salmon with 1 egg. (other egg for Magic) Added light soy and pepper to my squid. Lovely!
Oh, whilst my parents were waiting for transport to bring them to Golden Mile shopping centre, I took the opportunity to bring Magic down. She's truly in naughty mood. First she tried to 'cross road'. I saw her intended behaviour and gave her a stern calling and a loud NO then she realised I meant business and she couldn't be funny about it. :o Then later keep running around, refused to poo. 1 soft mushy piece came out. When we were about to go back home via lift, she took a LOOOOOOOONG time to get into the lift, then ran out again when the lift doors are about to close. Stood outside for a few minutes, I raised my voice and spoke to her in a stern manner, then she realised I was angry. She meekly ran into the lift, sat down on her butt with ears folded and the look which said,"ohoh jiejie is angry because I am so naughty" I spanked her on the backside and raised my hand. She was grinning sheepishly, smiling at me, still seated. Oh well. See how naughty she can get?????

Jess is ill! :( 2 days MC
Oh! It's the beginning of the new week and Jess is struck down with flu. Bad eh? Well, I think she got it from her brother. Poor her, slept so early yesterday then when she was crossing the road today on the back from the doctor's, she got almost knocked down by a TRAFFIC POLICE. Can you beat that? It was scary and I feared for her when she told me about it. -_-
Well, let's wish her a speedy recovery!
Anyway, today meeting old friend for lunch. So really glad. We will probably eat at Soup Spoon @ Raffles Xchange (just confirmed) so quite nice, as office air-con is darn cold again.
Over the weekend
Friday...
Well, manage to find out the chinese characters of my 2 gramps names and wrote them down on every first page of the incense offerings. Magic was very impatient and she keep running towards the lift landing. I had just brought her down as well for her walk but she was too impatient to wait for the joss sticks and candle to finish burning and gleefully barked at a teenage boy who was smiling at her. Some meanie she is.
So, I sent her up first then went back down to wait for a little while longer before burning the offerings in the big bin. I was burning my paternal gramps first then I just looked back and saw the whole bunch of my maternal gramps stuff catching fire! Gasp! I hurriedly picked up the flaming (green in colour thou) offering and placed them into and bin. I then proceeded to burn my maternal gramps stuff too... -_-a
Saturday...
Jess had to work, so Magic and I sent her off! ^^ After which she came back and we ate our mum's bee hoon (rather flavourful but quite scattered and minced), we went down Plaza Sing to do some grocery shopping. I finally caved in and cut my hair real short. Well, Jess was a little unused to it as she had not seen me with such short hair for a long while. Well, it's $10 cut and the "yes I want it short" was over-enthusiastically taken by the hairdresser! We did grocery shopping and hunger pangs came. Coupled with the rain, we stopped by at Piazze to have some finger food and drinks. Came back and had a earful from my mom regarding my length of hair (or rather the lack of it) and how unprofessional I looked.
Sunday...
B* kindly invited me to makan at a vegetarian restaurant and I was quite soaked when I got there. Walked all the way from Veerasamy Road whilst it was drizzling. Nevertheless, I managed to get there in one piece and enjoyed good vegetarian food with Tiger draft beer! w00t. Food's really good but weak me was feeling abit scorched with the spiciness! :D His elder daughter is very pretty, just like him and his missus. Very photogenic and smiles a lot. Of course, she's very naughty. I met C*'s daughter and she's quite a terror too. Her daughter is always bullying Granny it seems. Granny must walk, must carry her etc etc. Granny this, granny that. Heheheh make me miss my grandma a little. In fact our whole family had intended to visit grandma but I was too tired to go down. Maybe I will make a trip down this week to see her.

I thought it was close and could have gone either way. I didn't watch the first matchup but the games we lost were really close. It only shows that we needed more practice and were really out of touch. One of my players were feeling really stressed/blur and I only got to find out after I played with him v 1 pair of noob Singaporean guys. Well, I wished he's told me earlier :/ Schoolwork, with relationship stress, money issues etc has taken a toll on him. I wished I was more observant. Well, can't really tell when the only communication mode was online >.<

Finally! Thursday is over....
and hopefully the end of the annoying week. I don't know la. Whole week I am getting annoyed by people around me, irregardless of whether it's work or anything else. -_-
Anyway, glad Thursday is over, it only means that <24 hours is the weekend! w00t! it's past 6pm le!
Ok, my day today is totally cool despite the drain/drizzle the whole day. During lunch, we went Si Ma Lu to pray at the Guan Yin Temple and bought some offerings for both my deceased gramps. Hiya, got to write name for the clothes and necessities.... don't know how to write their name!! +_+
Then went to nearby hawker centre to eat lunch. Was famished and grouchy and the silly fish soup stall takes some pretty long to serve food. The food's nice la.. But wait so long? OMG! Then rushed back to office only to see my boss open the glass door for me. -.-
Anyway, I am going home now. Tata and have a good evening! ^^

Ahhh!
Well, a few minutes more and I would be going for my lunch break. Almost half a day is gone.. Did a nice liquidation summary flowchart this morning and B* said it's nice?? Wooo....
Yesterday went to check out the nice gym (Fitness First) with Jess. We were *impressed* but definitely not that *impressed* to shell out so much money for monthly membership. Yes, indeed it's premier health club, but that kind of monthly fees are ridiculous. Not witholding that we were 2 very hungry people and 1 very pushy sales guy, I did not go there with the mind to sign up for it. I was like,"I told you so" as he had refusedly not give me the price/membership listing plans. To go there and get a "value" shock was no-no and I am certainly not prepared to such a financial commitment when I am not prepared and have not budgeted for it. At the end of the whole incident, dunno who's bigger sucka. -.-
Came back late from lunch yesterday lor..... then got this really nice beef sandwich from downstairs! Yum!
Anyway, I digress. I just came back from lunch at this E-Lunch place at Arcade. The pork chops in my pork chop/fish and chips combo abit dry and untasty for 1 particularly thin piece. Back to work! (Notes to self: Need to collect Mum's and Sis' spectacles from Bedok and purchase offerings to 2 Gramps!)

Mad rush and crazy day!
Talking about Michael from The Apprentice, well, the newspaper "TODAY" featured him in their sections and Jess was like,"THERE THERE MICHAEL!" I was like -.-. I am so freaking annoyed by him in the show already. Apparently his shamelessness is natural! Not some online persona he made up to be. GGnoRE. Anyway, yesterday some annoying day la. zzz First Jess' computer decides not to recognise the other stick of 256mb ram then I lagged to death. Nevermind, I made a comeback and trashed the other opponent I met (same race Human thou). We bought fried spring chicken to supplement dinner... Wa.. so big.. just like ke ai ji but bigger and cheaper and we couldn't finish... >.<
I thought I was gona be cho-boing the whole day then suddenly stuff just came it! Great! ^^ For once I didn't feel so 'irrelevant'. Now the ball is over at the other department. Just some minor issues to iron out and we can proceed forward.
Magic's food running out, so we are making a trip down today to Bugis to buy her staple. We have decided not to get any other nice/delicious/fancy food.. Just those skin sensitive food. Magic's "scabbies" are getting more and more and larger and larger. Quite bad skin case. Oh, she needs to go for grooming soon too! Scruffy looking silver wolf whom I love so much and can't bear to leave her every morning! She's such a dear~

It's a Monday!
Been sending smses furiously this morning.... Keeping in touch with peeps and doing some administrative stuff. :)
The EPL season has started so I am glad to have something to watch on weekends/Sundays. On a side note, Tian Long Ba Bu has ended so it's the next series they are going to show on TV. I think it would be nice too. I just love the sets which they film with the period costumes and what else not.
Watched the Apprentice and am really glad that annoying/anal Michael left. I mean, he thinks he's too smart for his own good and everything else is beneath him (such that he won't 'get his hands dirty' doing stuff). I mean, what's so bad about distributing flyers? -_-" The 'Book Smarts' team I must say, did pretty well in their task, just losing by a mere $3. Wow! It can't get any closer ya?
As usual the weekend flew past me...
Wanted to send Magic for grooming but can't seem to contact the groomer. GASP did it close down? Oh, for those who don't know, establishments which I like/frequent eventually end folding up. Don't ask me why ok? Maybe I jinx the place. Rootz, Barfly, JFK (East Coast) etc were victims of my favourtism. >.<
Oh, we made our own Japanese (konaku) Jelly and I had loads of stomachache after each round of eating. Guess Jelly doesn't like me... so sad.. I really liked the chewy texture. [sigh]
We ate our favourite Ba Ka Lak Chicken for dinner on Saturday and reused the sauce for seafood! Nice! Man U opened their season with a 2-0 over the Merseyside peeps- Everton.
Sunday as usual was expended with getting up later in the morning, lazing around. Oh, my mom, sis and I went bedok, they did new spectacles and bought Hikari Blood worms.. We almost couldn't buy blood worms as the shop we thought were there isn't? Luckily we managed to locate another shop at the same stretch. Travelling was a breeze with taxi to and fro. ;)

Up early! w00t!
Last night was fun! I don't think anyone would disagree with that! Firstly, went to collect my tailored clothes! Black with white/grey lines and the other pink/blue with white collar.. So lovely! But before going to collect, I was so hungry that I dragged Jess down to Funan (We walked you see) to eat Ya Kun Toast and McNuggets!
After which we adjourned to City Hall to meet L* our friend who is as well Jess' colleague. She's had some tough rides with a relationships and we went to our favourite haunt at Barce to have a drink and some food. Guess who we meet!!! Wooo! We met AtTap-Chi!!! Wow! I haven't seen him in > 1 year! His band some cool siah!! :) We always wanted to go watch him jam but never had the chance. So lucky us! ^^
We had 2 bottles of south african wine (white and red) and went home very happily. Walked Magic the rascal who *again* refused to poo. >.<

Just give your best guess....
When a guy (who has one foot less, on crutches) sits some way away but on the same 'bench' with you pours away a yellow looking fluid in a small plastic cup into the grass behind. Yes, I am talking about the ceramic bench facing OUB centre where I sit there frequently to wait for Jess to knock off.
Well, at first I thought he didn't want the drink anymore. But after he put his hand at his crotch area and did the zipping action, I AM LIKE OMFG!!!! Well, he peed into the plastic cup (the type used for pao pao cha) right in front of everyone with everyone else no-wiser because he has a slingbag which covers his offensive action. WTH LOR...
Ok, for those who work in Raffles Place, he's the guy with 1 leg not foot/toes and morning he sells some business times/straits times before the regular vendor with table comes to set up his stall. Then after that he transforms to a begger on crutches, begging shamelessly outside OUB centre.
Well, the point really isn't that he peed. AFTER HIS PEEING SESSION, HE PROCEED TO BEG AT HIS USUAL SPOT. And guess what? USING THAT OFFENSIVE CUP. Well, for those who PITY him and DONATE to him AND PUT YOUR FINGERS into his DIRTY CUP (whilst dropping loose change, or even worse... dollar NOTES). GG NO RE I SAY TO YOU ALL!

The whole week just flew past me
Well, firstly to those who are Singapore, Happy National Day!
Let's see, what have I been doing? Well, my boss is out of town since Friday, so pretty much fighting the battle myself. Monday saw a lot of people on leave because Tuesday is a public holiday. Mum came back on Tuesday and helped me pay for some stuff -.- So paiseh.
Fell ill on National Day itself, courtesy of my sister who is already ill. Napped a little in the evening itself, ate a few pills and went to sleep watch watching CSI. We played scrabble too whilst waiting for CSI to start. Initial plan was to go out and eat but I was so ill, that I slept for 2 hours before dinner. Jess whipped up nice tandoori chicken and I ate it up quickly. Hungry I guess?
Yesterday was midweek, missed all my European soccer because I wasn't any wiser on the days and time. zzzz Zombied to work because was so ill. Then after work went to Bedok Central to walk walk and wow over the changes [because we haven't been there in a long while] Searched for my coveted Blood cockles and finally found it at Shop n Save after some delay from a very urgent person. We actually went NTUC earlier but there isn't much nice fresh cockles left. We adjourned to a coffee shop for the "easing" session then walked over the Shop n Save only to smell a stench never before! The place was so smelly!!! Choked sewage. Black/grey sewage threatened to overflow from the drains whilst the cleaner was nochantly sucking the excess liquid with a black mop. Urgh, the stench was so bad.. and unpleasant because it was at the area fresh foods were. :/ Oh well, we quickly bought fruit juice and my blood cockles and headed back to Jess' place.
Did a couple of registration for my clanmates online.. only to key one of their gender wrongly! Sorry! If you are reading this.

Soliloquy but not alone
Met up with MiC and had a swell time. First we boozed a little at Boat Quay (on empty stomach -.-) whilst waiting for Jess to arrive. She was some delayed because stuck abit here and there. Anyway, when she came, she ordered a pint of Hoegarden White. hahahah!
Ended up I finished much of her Hoegarden (after I had one pint myself! *burp*) Then MiC's friend was at Holland V, so we went down la!
Talked much and then drank alot. Let's see, we opened a bottle of red wine, ordered 3 2-for-1 Asahi bottles. Ate fried calamaris and 1 huge pizza. Then hopped onto the taxi at midnight, went to mama-in-law's place. Then upon reaching the carpark, I let go of all my food and drink. zzz Puked too near my shoes.. Now my Rockports so dirty... So paiseh.
Quite bad la. Go back Jess' place and be so annoying. I some more panick when I wake up middle of morning and wondered where I am.. and was quite panicky when I realised I wasn't at home... then heaved a sigh of relief when I realised I was at Jess' place! ^_^

Pay was actually in on Saturday. Not too bad. I credited my mom's account for monthly allowance and feel very broke! ~.~
Anyway, glad that Monday is over and I can't wait to meet Jess and see Magic sooner rather than later.
Jess is going for facial so... I go back by myself first... >.<
I think I shall solo a little. Have been getting lazy and "HUMJI" HAHAHA!
