It's official

Yes, I quit Ez. Thanks for all the Ezs who have made it memorable for me. I can safely say I have tried my best whilst I was there, bringing in new players, getting the clan league going and we are actually in the playoffs (semifinals) :)

Nevertheless, thanks for the warm welcome from DiSc. ^_^ They didn't make it slimy for me or anything like that. They accepted me straight away without grueling trials and making me feel like a zoo specimen, I appreciate that. :) Looking forward to know new friends and strengthening the friendship I have already with my current team-mates. They are a truly decent clan and I am sure they will climb onto great heights and become one of the strongest SG clan. :)

Today I got up at the regular time, and thus explains for my constant yawning. I whipped up country-style tomato-based pasta. Yum. Jess and my mom liked it. So glad they were enjoying their food. Jess then volunteered to cook tonight whilst my sis and I faced the daunting task of bathing my smelly schnauzer. Magic's smelling terrible... Maybe it's the sweltering weather that caused it. -.- But lucky for me, my sis helped, so it made things a lot easier. We now know the trick to making her smell nice. Her doggy shampoo makes her smell like food, so what we did was to rub up a rich lather of doggy shampoo and then rub in gently some dettol. Swell! Check out her blog to see nice and clean her. :p

Jess cooked wonder pork chop dinner. Yum! Ok, am still yawning non-stop even during my conversation with noob_tan. Grrrrr. Nitez all, have a pleasant weekend/Sunday. :)

Weekend already!

Well, was so tired!!!! Don't know why. Maybe the bowling hahahah. I hope it's not the onslaught of flu as it felt like one with aching limbs and tiredness.

Anyway, watched a thrilling match of Semi-finals between Li Jia Wei and her North Korean opponent bitch. Sorry for using that "B" word... But she's really one. Got kiam pa face and irritating soliquy. Oh well. Lucky for her to win the last 3 sets. Jia Wei was so much better than her.

Anyway, Jia Wei performed above herself. Kudos to her for going so far in the Olympics. GOGOGO for bronze!

Yesterday and day before = full of rudery

Had unpleasant dining experience at Jackson place and previous few days darn rude taxi-drivers. Cheats ahoy!

We were eating at our regular store. Ordered Gong Gong [sea snails] and our usual BBQ stingray. Well, the stupid young punk who took our order totally sucked. I never ate a smaller portion of Stingray and a more tastless Gong Gong before. He arrived with the chilli and toothpicks (for GongGong) and left the toothpicks on the table? [dirty yo?]

Then later arrived with the food -.-" Then when the BBQ Stingray arrived, I asked how much. He looked at us lustfully [like chee kor pek] Damn gross lor. He is probably younger than us lor. GROSS!

1 taxi driver whose blardy smelly cab is worse than my shit can tell me: why I never put my durian in boxes instead of the fruit in a plastic bag. I was like:"NOT AS IF YOUR CAB DAMN NICE SMELLING" Some cb driver. New taxi some more. So badly maintained. Got smelly toes/feet smell in a taxi. Beat that!

Then previous night, got 1 idiot driver, can tell us " You never say you live Chai Chee Street" after we told him to turn left at junction. We really don't get it, he had ample time to filter left, then he was speeding down Eunos/Kembangan stretch at 110km/hr and got cheek to tell us that we didn't tell him we going Chai Chee Street? More likely he wants to turn in from the other entrance. FULL-TIME CHEAT siah. Jess told him off (very unlikely of her, it's usually me who fumes at such things) and said,"You dunno road right" [in mandarin] then he retorted,"I live here 10 years" Then I got a bit irritated and told him off,"Even CHAI CHEE ROAD YOU TURN HERE NEARER BO?"

Hiya, it's the traffic light la. If you turn in from Chai Chee Drive there, got a lot of traffic lights. KBKP. ZzzZZ I feel like telling him: give me a receipt, I am gona lodge a complaint about you.

From where we came back from: Bintan

Well, I must say it's a much deserved break even though it hurt our purse-strings a little. A little unpleasantness on the final day after we had sumptious lunch and was on the way back. [sigh] Wish the return of the wallet soon!

Day 1: Saturday noon!

Realised it was a bad idea to check in on a Saturday.... The rooms were totally packed and some whom have checked out on Saturday haven't got their rooms cleaned up, so we can't check in. We were so thankful to take the 11am ferry instead of the earlier one because we ended up bumming around instead of resting. We looked around towards booking a full massage session for Jess but couldn't secure one because we hadn't got our room number. >.<

After having a drink at the lobby bar, and had a game of pool before that and some misc shopping, we were sleeping in the lobby's sofa. I basically dozed off whilst waiting for the keys to check into the room. I was so tired but Jess was fiesty, so off she went for a sun-bathing/ water dipping session. Hee hee. After that, we napped till dinner time, where we went for 1-for-1 buffet dinner. Really good food, especially the Mutton Rendang. Yum! And the lovely Assam seafood!!!! :)

Was knocked out again after dinner, so slept!

Day 2: Sunday!

Woke up quite early! Trotted down for buffet breakfast! Yummy! Jess went off for her massage treatment, so I kept myself busy with a book. I had a beer at the Poolside Restaurant. :) After she got back, she looked totally radiant and glowing!! :) Then we went for 1 hour of kayaking! Yum! We paddled thru and fro and got ourselves a nice tan. Scheduled our Mangrove Tour before we went for kayaking. Was just in time after we had lunch at Poolside restaurant. ^_^

Mangrove Tour was totally groovy! We saw tree snakes, mangrove snakes and never-ending stretches of above-ground roots. There are 2 kinds, one shaped like pens, other shaped like elephant ears. THEN IT STARTED TO RAIN!!!! The mangrove became a VERY SCARY PLACE. If you are lost there during a storm, you better pray you can figure your way out because the weather makes it so sinister. :( It also ruined our plans of going to the Kelong Restaurant for dinner. ZzzZ. So we ended up calling room-service for dinner and opened the bottle of red wine we bought from Duty-free. Watched a little Telly "Coffin Boy" and so on.... Glad to see Susilo beat Lin Dan in Olympics and watched the whole match even. [he's out of olympics now btw]

Day 3: Monday and Goodbye

Nothing that interesting. Had butter biscuits for breakfast with tea/coffee. Took transport down to Pasar Oleh Oleh where I couldn't resist but buy 3 pirated DVDs. Decided that we will go for a meal at Kelong Restaurant. Rest is history.

So how's your week so far guys? Feel like going Bintan again.... It's a lovely place... ^_^

Appreciate sane people and ..

Just when you thought thugs don't exist in the 21st century, well you are dead wrong. Not only they exist, they try to intimidate you in best possible way with techie harassment. The most amazing part is that the thug is almost a decade younger than me. What has the world come to???

Anyway, just blog on a few major happenings:

Creative Warcraft III TFT tournament: Kudos to Herman and gang for planning it from beginning to end. I know how hard it can get, and I hope Herman doesn't get a sore-throat from all the repeated shouting and calling of names.

A little wind blew our way- a little something for ourselves. Really thankful for that. Ride on the wind while it lasts. ;)

Tried to fix up the new P4 board with Celeron 2ghz. Wow, the comp flies! But got a lot of problems because was online trying to download the various security patches and ended up letting all the hack programs and what else not infest the comp. Looks like another re-configuration session soon. :/ But we are both glad that Jess has a comp to use when she gets home. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa somewhat faster than her bro's comp :p

Magic had a little something she's always wanted and she's grinning about it. Hehehe. See her eyes lit up is worth more than anything she can give you. :)

This weekend is a little longer than the rest due to the Monday break. Am really glad for it. Happy National Day to fellow Singaporeans. ^_^

Sunday and the day before the dreaded day that starts a 5.5 day week for me >.<

Well, despite the encouraging somewhat long weekend for me, I really dislike it. :( I do have a long week ahead of me but well, most of it much negated because Jess and I got a tiny little windfall :) Must be the good karma! :) Well, I must describe how my exciting Saturday went.

Got up early in the morning because Magic needs to pee/poo and licked at my ear so frequent that I gave in to her pleas. I went to kitchen toilet to do my own nature's business and on the way out, stepped her puddle of urine on the kitchen rug. "It better be something good," I thought as I took the mop to soak up the urine. Took her downstairs and nothing was unusual. Jess refused to get up early so that we may go to Siglap to eat Fu Lin Niang Dou Fu for breakfast. Well, did I mention that's the BESTEST niang dou fu in Singapore? Well it is. But by the time we went there to eat, it was like brunch for us. But not before we went to our favourite SG Pools shop to follow up on some numbers we were buying. :)

Then went to withdraw monies from our joint account for Kevin's daughter's one-month old party. She looks so pretty and looks very much like Kevin. Thanks Kevin and his missus for the lovely food. I even ta-baoed some vinegar pig trotters home :)

After making a big round the whole MRT line (from AMK to P. Lebar), had numerous change of plans, finally got home and gave Magic her new food and healthy supplement treats. Jess watched "How to lose a guy in 10 days" whilst I was totally knocked out and slept through it. Then before going out for dinner at Jackson's Centre, I decided to check web for lottery numbers to see whether we strike anything. Well, lo and behold, our loveliest number came out and we are elated. Had no appetite (had just wu xiang instead of our beloved chilli crab!) and later met Jess' ex-dance pals for a small drink. Well, all I can say is that we couldn't stop smiling ;)

Went down to Si Ma Lu as promised and felt lots better. Gave thanks and trotted down in search for a pair of shoes for small-footed me. No luck though. :p

Then we had problems depositing the winnings. So we went to a jap restaurant, ate like $60 worth of sashimi. Not bad, but darn small portions and used the opportunity to break up the large note. Well, if you are interested, it's the shop at the citi-link escalator going upwards. We then went to window shop at Suntec. I was quite interested in getting a pair of glasses which game with it's customised clip-ons. But so ex that I gave it up. S$366 for just the clip-ons and the frame. Thanks but no thanks for me. "(

Ah, the simple pleasures of life? Certainly ^_^
