Food is good. Yummy!
We ate at Marche... Haven't eaten there in a long while. :) I really missed the Pork Knuckles so we had half portion together with some delicious rosti. I had seafood craving so I ordered Sambal Squid (too watery and not that nice) and we started off with 2 fresh oysters each. There's this really nice mixed tempura with all sorts of goodies but quite ex at S17.90 so we didn't order and plus too much food le. Shared a bottle of Bunderberg Ginger Beer! :)
Then we walked down to Carrefour to do some shopping. Bought 2 packets of "man tou" one wholemeal other plain, 1 packet of really nice pork cutlets (of which one piece is already in Marcus' stomach) and 1 packet of Ribeye, on discount, $29.90 per kg.
We bought a lot of vegetables too.....
I really hope I can get leave for Monday..... Doesn't look like I will get it anyways. =.=

Yesterday...
You must be wondering at the -.-. Well, initial plan was to eat buffet at the nice "Paris International Restaurant" (same as Genghis Khan group of restaurants I think). So we walked around Marina Square and felt quite lost and the renovations were still in progress and it looks really different for the parts that were already completed. Looks totally different from our last memory of the place. Well, we couldn't find the Paris place, next alternative was to eat at "Dian Xiao Er" but there was a queue outside and we were quite reluctant to wait for our turn. So happy us went over to Sakae, ignoring that fact we had dinner and booze outing with M* the day before. I don't know whether it's us or the food. The sashimi tasted really terrible and we felt like throwing up. t.t
Today...
Lunch is much better, we had pig's organ soup after which we adjoured to purchase lottery for today and tomorrow as well as dessert again! Hee Hee! Hope lady luck shines on us :D Zzzz leave haven't confirmed but nice thing is I just discovered that I have more days than I thought! w00t! Had bubble tea too! Kind MY called me and E* help me buy back from China Sq.

Ultimate need of a loved one
For such significance, I always thought that it's the same for everyone. Guess not. The feeling of unwantedness and neglect makes one unhappy and sometimes depressed.
I feel so unloved, but am always reassured with very fabulous lip service about how much I am loved. For me, it's about how you love, not how you say it. I am getting so frustrated with certain stuff and I don't think I can change it?
I never knew that love is about controlling or anything like that.
Will things get better? Guess not. Just let it deteriorate then I am not surprised if the relationship becomes plutonic.

Hiya, so busy the whole week... rushing report and brought work home everynight to do. Hopefully can finalise it soon. t.t Here's what happened the past few days!
Saturday
Eh horrible la. Man U drew with Spurs. Some crap? Spurs had 1 decent shot at goal and it goes in? -.- Anyway whole night EPL night, so not complaining that much. We ate nice porridge with "kiam" for lunch with some burnt pork chops, and had Striploin steak for dinner with salad and wine. Then continued gorging on Herring eggs and chips. Never felt so full T.T
Friday
The weekend approaches! Yipee! We decided to be less boring (read: romance each other) and we ate at Country Mana. Some Jumbo Trio which looked cheap but really isn't THAT cheap unless you are a sucker for soft drinks (they gave a pitcher). Expensive meal. With Tortilla starters, we paid close to $50 for the 2 of us. Some ouch.
Then went Carrefour. Bought few groceries. Then long TAXI QUEUE. NOT MOVING. Then we called for taxi and had to pay S$4 booking fee. That's S$7.40 (flagdown + $1 CBD) before the taxi even drives us. Crapshit. No wonder no one wants to book taxi and would rather wait till one comes! zzzzz Pissed off. 2nd time le..... First was Tuesday, had this killer taxi trip (50min) and costing $17 to work from home because Nicoll highway jam before Suntec stretch. Of course it doesn't help when you have an asshole of a driver who likes to tailgate and drive slowly. So blardy late for work. -.-
Thursday!
Well, as promised, I went down to see him again. My throat/nose was getting slightly better but my eyes got worse? I sometimes hate the eyedrops he perscribe for me on Thursday because it's 2 kinds and when I I drip bother into my eyes, it will somehow leak into my nasal passage and into my throat. Some horrible tasting anyway.
Before seeing doctor I went to get CMOS battery as my comp died...... cos CMOS battery no energy le... Couldn't find my mb box nor manual and took the risk by just buying the common battery. Well, it worked and my comp is up running on Thursday night..
We also bought some Sashimi from Jason's at City Hall so had a good dinner. :)
Anyway, was so glad that everything is fine.. and my comp isn't dead (feared that I had to buy a new one!)
To think of it, my comp's really old. Let's see, my comp outlived my sis' Compaq laptop(stolen), ez-buddies SFF and Cutey small tower with LCD display. In fact, just recently I changed her MB for her. At least now she has a decent Aopen casing. t.t

Decent weekend but ended up ill!
Just thought I would update quickly before I leave office.
Friday
We went Orchard area to looklook-seesee on Friday night. Jess' legs are weak and refused to walk any further. We ended up at Heeren and took taxi home at the "secret taxi stand"
Ooooh, I am so pleased with myself, because I actually purchased my Razer Diamondhead (FINALLY!) and still managed to meet Jess in time after work. ^^ Check out the link for good and cheap mice and mousepads!
We were so hungry that we gobbled down Laksas at a booth at Taka (Jess took the Penang Laksa whilst I had the coconuty Nonya Laksa) Some sinful food we had.
Went around and got a good and cheap wine-opener from "The Oak Seller" Double pull is good.. I hate the one I used to use. It made it painful to pull out the cork.
So happy with my mouse but don't know how to configure it..... Dumb me.. But it's very smooth and sexy to use. Not to mention smaller than the Logitech Mx500, so my hands/fingers are more comfortable.
Then at night to Jackson Place to eat. Wahahha. Then Marcus gave his family a scare by leaving home at 5am (silly boy paid midnight surcharge) to come over and surprised us with his sleeping presenc. O_O
Saturday
Besides busy tweaking my mouse, I can't think of anything else that I actually did. Well, I started playing AT again.. good to keep in touch competitively and playing more often.
Sunday
League game v Clan SkT ended up in a nice 4-1 win for us, Clan diVe. Silly me reported wrong scores to Recoil. Oh well. >.<
Then 4 jokers crowded on my singlebed, making it inbearably hot in my nice aircon room to watch the 11pm-1am "Date with a Vampire" That was when I felt really ill. >.< It doesn't help when my sister is ill.
Sickly Monday
Well, what to do? Went my regular GP and had to pay 58$ because got eyedrops and some other medication including antibiotics. Anyway, have to go back for a review on Thursday. I will go and see him after work ba. :/
Tuesday and go Jess' place
What else? I ate cockles again. Wahahahhaha. Then played a couple of games before doing some office work and watching Dr House on AXN.
Today hor, we didn't sleep well. I spent my whole night dreaming. Anyway, glad to get up early and take REAL public transport to work. Early by 10min yo! :)))))))))))

Today ate at the Thai Chinese place. Yum! Haven't been there for a while! We also went to eat Yami Yogurt! I really miss Yami Yogurt as I hadn't been there for weeks!
Anyway, hope she comes home soon after her function. It's a farewell for someone who's leaving the organisation. Can't wait to watch CSI tonight!
The report is almost done, just lack of some information. The earlier report is amended today and I think we can conclude that soon also. ;)
Yesterday
Was quite grouchy because feeling ill. Nevertheless, our initial plan to buy food home to cook was abandoned as I had brought some work back from office to finish up as I had to rush a report. Instead, we went to the $10 steamboat buffet. The broth is really nice. Next time I will ask my sister and her boyfriend to come along!
Went home, relaxed a bit by playing a few games online. Then t.t
Felt quite happy as I managed to catch Dr House!

Tummy ache to accompany me
Whole day tummy-ache. Poor me! Anyway, today witnessed the Panel Van turn out wrong direction into 1 way street from my carpark! ROTFLOL! Then sat on a Ba Wang Che (Bandid Taxi) which drove us all over the estate, blardy slow and stupid $1 more for taxi fare -.-
We had Mac's for lunch.. and Sakae for dinner. We ordered Special Sashimi Prime to try it and it wasn't too bad. :) Quite a nice variety for Sashimi. Washed it down with good Asahi Beer! ^^v
Still ate more Konaku Jelly. I was glad that Mom's church mates liked it. They commented that's expensive Jelly? Hee Hee. Dad knocked off early and was playing Freecell on my comp. He also asked whether he could eat the jelly. -_-a
Watched 7 Swords... Now I know why A* doesn't like it. Not a fantastic show anyway. I think it would be better off as a cartoon/anime! Marcus bro bought Some scary movie. Amythiville (sp) or something like that. Heard from Liling that they stopped watching after a while because he was covering himself with the blanket!

Finally fixed my sis' comp -_-"
Well, her comp died on Friday. PSU and MB totally fried and beyond repair (as suspected, sent to clinic for confirmation). The clinic wanted to charge us $140 for replacement of MB and $70 for replacement of PSU. OMG? Then that's excluding $40 installation charge which we thought that they shouldn't charge. Liling remembered that she didn't pay so much for her MB + Casing (including PSU) 1 year ago? Some cheats they are. Called mum up and she said,"Your PSU and Mobo fried again???".
Anyway, went back to the shop she bought her stuff and we bought a brand new AOPEN casing with PSU and nice MSI MB for replacement. Now her system flies and cooling ain't a problem. Also fixed her internet problem.... hahahhahaha I thought I could get away by not re-installing WinXP after changing Mobo.. Guess not -.- Anyway, can't find my XP disc. Ended up used the spare USB wireless for Net/Bnet ba. ^^v Didn't solve the PCI problem but bypassed it. w00t!
Now she can Bnet all she wants. I just saboed her again.. I made CG (Massacre TD) and left her comp running. Then people join le .. wait until impatient and alot of "GO GO START???!!" then left her game. Hahahah gave her abit of a virtual bad name. She was like,"Jie, why you leave my comp liddat running with the CG hosted?" Hee hee, wanted to test FW ma. ^_^ Now she got sexy AOPEN tower + PSU yoyo?
Ok la today, Jess, Sis and I made Konaku Jelly (2 packets), share with my mom, she bringing some down for her church potluck today. Then yesterday go SLS to buy her stuff. Again didn't buy my mouse but Jess came along to help though. Copperhead is in SLS finally, so for those who want to buy it, you can do so now. ;)

Weeee less than 24 hours and..............
It's the arrival of good old weekend. Well, I am officially off work.... Thought I will blog a little before making my way home.
Yesterday
Well, we meet up with my handsome friend and his new pretty girlfriend, and the newly-weds whom we attended their wedding dinner :)
Had seafood at this "Zi Cha" place at Rangoon Road. Decent food but I think I have high standards.
Before that met Jess to restring her beads so that she can wear her Tzi Beads again. [as promised] Splurged a nice new 'old' Tzi Bead on myself, made it to another braceless with Obsidian stones! Chio man! But pocket pain!
We didn't purchase anything else, but Jess was starving due to her miserly lunch of "MEE POK" at my place, we had Tako balls and Japanese Pancake before going down for the 2nd dinner mentioned above. Wa so full and feeling unhealthy.... Jess was on leave yesterday! Lucky her! Wish her all the best for her new endeavours ;)

Ate very fast, didn't talk much...
was me during lunch today with my meal of chicken rice (thigh) with cha siew. A colleague just got back from HK, and was previously outfield in client's place... so caught up abit with her as I had not seen her for 2 months.
Miss Jess a lot.. We haven't been really separated for like > 24 hours? Oh dear! But Magic baby's been a dear sleeping beside me for the past 3 nights. My sister said "your new wife ah" -_-"
Sim Lim Square
I haven't been there in ages. My favourite VCD/DVD shop has closed down. The one at the escalator which frequently shows wrestling on their TV. [sigh] Well, I can't remember when I last went there. I think maybe 8 months? Had a long (read: expensive) wish list but didn't buy any except the keypad. I still love my keyboard (Thanks Jess!) Saw a keyboard costing $600++! Wow! >.<
Now HDD very cheap and comes in x00 gb. The last time I remember, it was 120gb max? That's how outdated I am and how LOUSY my comp really is. Graphics now have PCI express standard and I am still stuck in AGP OMG!
I wanted to buy doomIII, but luckily Marcus bro was around and advised me not to as even his radeon X card can't play it properly and not to mention, my Ti4200. Sad Sad Sad. As expected, Razor Copperhead is *out of stock* [for I doubt that they even were sold in the first place] and was looking around and couldn't really find a mouse that screamed "BUY ME" so I am still using Marcus' hand-me-down MX500. You know my house is cute, got 3 series of the Mx5xx. I bought my sis the Mx510, then my sis bought Marcus the Mx518 when she thought his mouse was spoilt ... when actually it's spoiling nia. Mx518 is a real good buy as it's an improved 1600dpi mouse at a very affordable price (< S$100). I saw the G5 on sale. Lovely mouse as it has weights to customise. The Mx900/1000 looked tempting as it was wireless but don't know why didn't buy ley.
We also met Zarifar and Ming there. :) Nice to finally meet up with them.

An exciting Friday evening!
Well, fate decreed that Amithyst should have his friends 'aeroplane' him for dinner and he sms me saying that he try help me fix my router/fw problem tonight (Friday). Then I was actually at Bugis, [yes, I finally cut my hair.... ] so to cut the long story short, we met up and had dinner at Mos Burger. :)
Poor Amithyst, his friend thought he was joking about the dinner date.. he actually waited for her for awhile only to realise that she's on the bus on the way home. >.<
Anyway, his misfortune becomes my fortune! hee hee. Amithyst came to my place and figured out for me what a noob I am in the port-ip config and taught me about wireless security. :) Now all the comps in my house can host ^^ [A HUGE THANKS TO AMITHYST]But I forget to ask him how to do filesharing O_O
Jess is off the BKK for her company's trip. She bought me a perfume....
Someone jio me go JB but I am so lazy now.. and I wana go SLS with Zarifar and Ming.. zzzzz
Nevertheless, Amithyst earned a Sunday instead! Since he fixed my problem yesterday, he's free to spend the Sat and Sun with his gf!
