Heya! It's a Saturday again!

Hmmm it's Saturday, but my off! [does a little indian dance] yes.... I am on a 5 day week this week. Went back to work and the week flew through pretty quickly. Well, was too tired to blog during weekdays..... >.< We were busy watching VCDs this week. Caught "The haunted mansion" and "Underworld", speaking of which, I am totally in awe of Victor (one of the 3 elders in Underworld) He's like so cool, wise and powerful.... and sexy, since he's a vampire and lives forever~

We also finally caught i,robot on Thursday! It's a pretty good show IMO. After that went to have lovely dinner at "Bakers' Inn" We had 2 pastas with a bottle of white wine. DO NOT SLIGHT VIN DE PAYS!!!! Well, having said that, I don't think I would rush out to the supermarket to buy a bottle though. Still have a lot of misgivings over table wine.

Here's a picture of the lovely night scenery at B.Boss. Swell isn't it?

Ah, here's a lovely shot of the nachos we had at Brewerkz. I love the way they make nachos seem so high-classed. :p Pickled olives, chillies, diced tomatoes and 3 choices of dips really spoilt us. :)

Ok, till I blog again! :)

Just a quick one before I leave office~

Well, I am glad to be feeling better. The dizziness is much lesser.... Much more MANAGEABLE. Probably the new medicine helped. The throbbing on my head is now a silent whisper compared to earlier in the week it was a woofer with strong bass. :/

My mom just called me earlier asking me whether I want the sound to come out from my Hi-Fi or my TV. Heee! Means TV is here early! w00t! I am so happy! My mom bought me 21" TV last week and 29" for the hall and traded in the 29" and her room's 21" TV . Swell isn't it?

Anyhow, glad to be back to work. :) Enjoy your weekend guys! ^_^

A very sad and sick day -.-

I hate being sick. I mean, I can't do anything else. Due to the medication, my legs have all gone soft and my arms also. I can't get up from a lying/sitting position too quickly lest I see stars and feel super dizzy. The dizzy spell doesn't seem to stop or lesson. I went to see the doctor again today and the whole world was spinning beneath me.

I am totally lack of strength. Maybe on hindsight, I should have taken the 2 days MC the doctor offered me.... But was really getting worried about my work piling up. Hope I can just live through the half day without any mishaps. Tuesday was terrible for me.. I had to constantly remind myself not to faint at work. :(

Meanwhile, Magic seem to be moody too. I don't understand why? Maybe doggies have moods too. Till I feel better, blog again ba.

Sickly -.-

Firstly, I think it's a bad idea to see the stupid GP who is opposite my block. Not only has he ripped me off (on an average of $38) per visit for the past 3 times, he has really out-done himself with the latest visit on Monday which he charged me $40 for some silly medicine. He refuses to give me 2 days MC which I really needed and I went to work on Tuesday and it was a bad idea to even go to work. I was pale and feeling dizzy all the way. So, I got worse on Wednesday. I went to the GP my mom and sis recommended and got better medicine and 2 days MC. I have been feeling weak all over.... Legs and hands soft... jellified!

Anyway, here's something for you guys to look at: My knee. Remember that bloodied knee? Well, it's healed, but still looks funny and hurts.

But today's cool, because Jess gave me this cutesy stuff I could stick around :)

Hee hee. :) Hope I feel better tomorrow!

/me out

Magical Magic and beautiful tailored shirts!

Did I tell you all? Well, Magic gave my dad some numbers and it came out as prizes for Wednesday and Saturday's draw. Cool eh? It was consolation and starter respectively. Well, my dog's been good to him even though she hates him. :p As a result, I am $70 richer (of which $40 went to my doc fee today. zzzz) and Magic had a nice outing to the beach yesterday. We went East Coast beach and my parents met up with some old friends of theirs and we had a little fun by the beach watching the sun set. Before that my mom changed some Aussie dollars and made some money. Cool. Then after beach outing, we went Bedok 85 and bought food whilst my dad went to get aquarium stuff. My dad bought a nice bright lamp and some 100 neon tetras (30% dead?) and the tank looks a lot nicer. We had a lovely dinner of the Bak Chor Mee (I don't think it's fantastic though), Satay, Chicken Wings and Fried Oyster. Yummy.

Today, Jess collected the shirts. I am on MC. -.- So ill. Dizziness not getting better. Been getting hot and cold flushes. Anyway, I digress. The shirts are wonderfully tailored. Now got to go shop for nice cufflinks for my french cuffs shirt. ^^v Ok, am off to rest. Have a good week ahead guys. :)

Sunday!

Well, I was surprised when wanting to make a new post in my blog. Blogger has changed its format.... I was like "huh"? But anyway, it looks like the Microsoft word formatting page with the font, size, style, colour and even bullets. Looks like they even added a spellcheck to it. Lolz.

Anyway, am blogging on my sis' cool SFF. Here's how my KL trip went:

Saturday:
Left house early, reached JB early. Horror of horrors our watermelon juice had sugar in it! [gasp] Booked an early bus ride to Johor. Terrible slow trip with 2 drivers taking turns and numerous toilet stops. Methinks they had those stops so that they could have smoke breaks. Both drivers SMOKED so much!

I bought 'hairy' rambutans to eat on the way. Very sweet but not crunchy. Had loads of flesh stuck on my teeth. Check the pictures we took in KL here.

Then after that, checked in and realised that we got the wrong room, and worst still, a room which has stuff in it. I think the previous owner has not checked out at all with the ashtray with ciggie butts and wedding gifts and all. We wanted a NONE-SMOKING room. Arrrrgh. Terrible place. And my colleague was right!!!! Hotel Federal = Hotel 81. Zzzzzz Should have got back Hotel Capitol. Liked the oldy and simple place there. I was totally in a bad mood and we went down to change the room. We had like 2 free drinks from the bar which we didn't utilise at all? Lolz

Then we made the mistake of going down Bangsar... On a Saturday night. We forgot that the Pasar Malam only opens on Sunday. 6-10pm to be exact. Nevertheless, no worries, we went to eat lovely seafood... Blardy spicy sambal Kangkong as they added loads of chilli seeds into the concoction. Overcooked blood cockles, nice Black fried promfret. Idea was there but style wasn't. Ended dinner with a burp and we went around Bangsar to shop. Jess managed to get 2 lovely pieces of clothing and as we had to get some toiletries, we went to guardian. They were having some promotion.... some charity drive. Here is how it works: You donate RM$10 to buy a bag, which allows you to have an additional discount on the participating brands like from 20-40%. Real cool I think almost every brand had discounts save Olay. LOLZ. So we couldn't buy the Total Essence and Total Effects as it was around the same price for my mom. But we bought loads of nice shampoo, hair treatment creams, strepsils, panadols etc. Wasn't feeling too good since Friday night.... Was basically a sick traveller.

After spending like close to RM$80 on a lot of stuff, we went over to the next door 7-11 to get some beer to cool us both down. Bought 2 bottles. But didn't drink them? Lolz.

Next day we woke up so late... as usual. So tired ma. So wake up late. Took taxi down to KLCC. Shopped a little, didn't buy much.. Not even for shopaholic Jess. We had wonderful lunch at Chinoz. Triple cheese pizza, and that lovely pasta with anchovies, olives etc. We even ordered potatoe salad as starters. Jess had an unflattering shot of me sleeping upright as I was really sick and tired. Camomile tea didn't help :/. Didn't buy much and then we took a taxi down Chinatown where I got a hair-cut and the pair of lovely nike shoes. I also bought a packet of dry fish for my colleagues :)

Then took a taxi to Time Square (new place apparently) which we saw the indoor roller-coaster with the passengers screaming their lungs out. We bought a couple of nice tops for my sister and for Jess and that's about it. Hardly any shopping in this trip. After that, we managed to walk back to our hotel *without getting lost* and drank up the 2 small bottles of beer (Tiger Beer w00t) before going down to Hawker Street to eat seafood. We had sambal prawns (nice juicy and spicy), blood cockles done the bloody way ^^ and stir-fry kailan. Then had a tad problem being wet whilst waiting for a taxi. Most taxis refused to take us to Bangsar because it was the finals of Euro and they were holding some event over there. After much waiting, we managed to get onto a taxi which halfway through the journey almost overturned as he made an acute right turn into a road divider. I swear we were riding on 1 wheel at one time!!! After that bumpy sound when the other 3 wheels landed on the wet bitumen road, the driver nochalantly shrugged and continued driving us to Bangsar. What an adventure! The night market awaited us. I bought a packet of strawberries and 4 packets of dry cuttlefish seasoned with prawn paste and peanuts. Yum! It was the same lovely one I bought the last time I went over during my birthday. We basically soaked in the lights and sound. Initial plan was to stay for the Euro Finals. But it started at 3am and at the rate taxis were available we were skeptical. I was so tired also.. So we abandoned the whole idea and took a taxi back. No bumpy ride though :p

Next morning was a rush! We had a large bottle of beer (forgot to chill :p) with strawberries for breakfast! Swell! Then trodded all the way to the Pedu Raya Bus station in search for a bus back to Singapore. Went to 1 company who only had the 3.30pm slot. We refused to be discouraged and went to the next one. The lady said: Departing now. We paid her the RM$50 and went down to the bus-depot (at the basement) to take the express bus back to Singapore. We ate lunch at our first toilet stop. Bought some more tid-bits. :p Then realised that we didn't have a co-driver! He drove the 5 hours straight to Singapore. Really quick guy. Made us think that our trip there was terribly long! >.< The bus dropped us at Golden Mile. After going back my place to drop stuff, we still had the energy to go to Bugis to eat Sakae and watch a movie. Hee hee. Spiderman II. That's how our few days of holidays went. :)

Looks like:...

I have been a bad blogger. It's almost mid-week and I really think I should blog.

A lot of things happened this week. Well, not witholding that I haven't blogged about my lovely KL trip.

Firstly, remember my previous post about the gal I knew ages ago? Well, she just tendered on Monday. And horror of horrors, her last day is on Wednesday i.e. tomorrow!!!! She had that much leave to clear!!! Oh well, really going to miss her. She's been my mentor ever since I came into the organisation. Nevertheless, if she's reading this: ALL THE VERY BEST TO HER! I salute her for taking that brave decision to charter into unknown waters. Kudos to her. So many of us are entrenched in the same boring and familarity; endlessly bitching about our jobs but never taking the first step in moving on. Really proud of her. :)

Today is good. I walked down to Raffles Place to have lunch with my darling and her lovely colleague. She looks smashing with her new hairstyle. The stylist is a genius. With appropriate, he made the hair curl, not only at the ends which she usually has. :) We had O'Brien's. Expensive but good stuff. :D

Ok, feeling tired. Hope to blog again soon. ^_^

It's Saturday again.....

but I am at work? Yupz, it's my scheduled Saturday "ON" today. I totally feel that Saturday is a blardy waste of time. I mean, what are you going to do with like just the morning when half the time you are probably going to think about breakfast and lunch. :p

My fav hair gal is back to work. ^^v Well, to think we actually knew each other way back in college. Time flies. No longer am I the rash and very impulsive 18 year old. Now 26, beginning to put other stuff in retrospective. More laid back and wiser? Well, some people think/feel I bo-chup but I can assure you that it's entirely untrue. You got to sieve out and decide what's worth bothering about and what's not. There are only so many things you can make a difference to and only 2 pair of hands and 24 hours a day, which more than 2/3 is spent travelling, working (i.e. Employer bought your time) and sleeping. The rest of the time remains for you to spend it wisely.

Realised I hardly blogged... I have lots of things I want to blog about but haven't like my KL trip.

Ok, got to work. Laterz

Phew! Midweek is finally over

I am feeling terribly ill, was sickly since morning and felt like puking after having nice lunch @ chinatown. Guess body ain't feeling too well.

Nevertheless managed to survive the whole day. Had a meeting in the morning and still feel that I am trodding on too slowly for case management. Always think the worst of it I guess.............. >.<

Well, this is just a short update. KL trip was good and fun, except for me being so ill and a wet blanket. We didn't catch the finals of EURO because I couldn't be bothered to see a Greek goal winning it. Anyway, the traffic at Bangsar was terrible. It was hard getting transport back home from Bangsar not to mention AFTER the match. [shudders]

Will blog more about my KL trip soon. :) Meanwhile, looking forward to tomorrow's Herstory Finals!!! :)

Greetings all to a beautiful Saturday!

I think we are incredibly attached to Magic!!! :) Jess came over on Thursday night and we initially wanted to let Magic sleep outside.... But we thought we would try to let her sleep in my room, but on her beanbag. Alas... Things were not to be. Half the time she was snuggled beside me, allowing me to stroke her backside >.<

Today's even worse. She took half the bed again. She nudged me with her legs..... hee hee... Very obnoxious dog.... sigh, she's barking at the neighbours again.. Not that I like them but she's barking at them every time they leave/enter their home.

Ok, we are getting ready for your KL trip. Basically not feeling good as suddenly last night had a lump at my throat!!! 2 very sick people insistently wanting to go KL. :p Glad the long weekend for us is here; we took Monday off.

I hope I don't forget to buy my mom's Olay Essence and Olay Total Effects. My mom tells me that if the total effects is less than SGD18 I could buy it? hmmm Maybe SMS her later. :p Must buy chicken halal bak kua so that can bring to office :p

Ok, leaving soon. Cya all on Monday ^_^
