Wigan,"We are all friends right?" [grins]

Apparently that didn't work very well with our resident dog, Magic, of the same colour and breed. Wigan, who is barely 6 months old (birthday on 26 Nov 05) was very enthusiastic making friends with everyone. He looked really different from the last Sunday we saw him, sad and terrified at the Pet Shop. His superb temperament and huge floppy ears touched my soft spot, and the whole of last week I was keeping my fingers crossed, on whether he would be still around when I went down on Friday with Magic for campanion match-making.

Also, I was afraid that Magic and him might be Arch-enemies, luckily nothing of that sort. However, Magic had embarked on her snobbish mood and has not stopped throwing tantrums since we brought Wigan back late on Friday night. My parents were quite impressed with his temperament and friendliness (minus the smell). He is really dark for a Salt and Pepper Mini Schaunzer, has HUGE paws, large floppy ears, long tongue and a long body to boot. He weights 6.6kg when we went to the vet for a checkup. He's really sociable. The short stay at the Vet clinic saw him make friends with dogs and humans alike. Phew, no more fear of the dog BITING kids (read: Magic) or fierce scary barks (Magic la). Wigan tends to get really jealous and would demand that you sayang him if you were to be doing that to Magic or someone else.

He's shitting and peeing all over the house as he's still young; still unable to climb down the 2 flight of stairs to the lift landing to 10th floor, however, we are really proud of him as he was able to climb UP the 2 flights of stairs without any aid on the 2nd day.

Well, Magic has been really obnoxious: She snapped at him for these various reasons:

1) Only I can greet daddy outside the gate with my vibrating backside and waggly tail, you cannot go out and do the same, Wigan. (for poor Wigan was only trying to greet my dad and got rebuked rather harshly) She almost bit him I think

2) You cannot walk in front of me, even if it's just the 10th floor corridor. She gave him a sharp scolding and Wigan ran back to me crying, wondering why this jiejie so mean to him. He only 'accidentally' ran in front of her because he was hopping gaily

3) You cannot come near if ______ (insert desired human) is cuddling me. Magic hissed like a cat. Hiyo

Magic also was very nasty in this instances. Oh, our prissy highness, what is she doing?

1) Wigan got canned and beaten for peeing and pooing on ground. Magic wagged her tail and had a very evil smile on her lips. (a couple of times ok?)

2) Wigan got scolding because he tried to get onto the bed/sofa. Magic wagged her tail gleefully as the 2 big jiejies scolded Wigan.

Anyway, being her naughty self, she was spending most of her time sulking alone, underneath my mom's bed or mine. Even ringing the doorbell didn't 'summon' her. She was missing alot of fun as the 2 could have played together.

Despite being so snobbish and mean, it was surprising that she didn't "stand up" to defend her toys. Now, 1 alien, the airplane and the santa hat is Wigan's toys. That's on top of her pillow which I had given him and the new soft toy bone and chewy which I bought. Everyone's like,"Magic! Wigan's playing your toys! GET THEM BACK!" [Magic looks away]

Ok, the real reason why my 'progress' money went into purchasing Wigan. Well, we are getting a new place, and Magic will be most comfortable staying with my parents as she's spoilt rotten being their grandchild. >.<
