Well... what an exciting week!
Besides being on a much-deserved 1 day's break tomorrow (ANNUAL LEAVE LA) I am running a couple of errands tomorrow. Firstly to bring Magic for FULL GROOMING (read: shave all and cut nails short ok!) because she looks more wolfy than anything else. Fixed the appoint in the late evening at 3.30pm.
I heard there's MANGO sale, so we are going to check that out.
We went Sim Lim Square to buy Jess' nice Logitech G1 mouse and Barra mousepad. Jess really likes my Razer (for it's size and smoothness as compared to the heavy and large MX500 series) and she didn't really need a 1600 dpi mouse, so I recommended her the Logitech G1. It's ridiculous that the MX310 is actually retailing for almost the same prize! [shocked]
Well, the good recommendation(s) came from Royce (FLYSHOW) and MJ (asiaorc.exp) whom which we coincidentally met MJ at Technodrome. He was shopping for BF expansion! We had to hunt for our beloved G1 and finally found the shifted Green Domain shop and bought it! I was very tempted to get the Razer eXactmat (which was the initial plan and pass her my diVe mousepad) but realised that the eXactmat is way too large to put on my pull-out mousepad holder.
After the short shopping spree and SLS, we walked past Rockery and realised there's Katong Laksa so we sat down to eat la! Wa shiok!!!!
Jess was saying to get me a new PDA-phone, so we did look at the Treo 650 at SLS which was pretty nice. Very good resolution and decent camera. However no WiFi. Anyway we were too hungry to purchase on the spot (without contract) so went to eat first ba. Then we saw the Dopod guy demo the Dopod 838 and I fell instantly in love with it. It had a retractable pull-out keyboard! Big too! The screen is really huge, reminds me of PSP. Heheheheh. Despite being a OMAP processor (not so fast ya?) and 65K screen but packed with endless possiblity. Not to mention its firmware is Windows Mobile v5. I have heard many horror stories about the v3 hanging but v5 is AMAZING! What I really want to commend about is that this phone comes with most of the things, like earpiece, USB cable, charger, slot for Mini SD (of which I am looking for the 1Gig size) and carrying case. Decent battery life and of course got bluetooth, Wifi and Infra-red la!
So now, my newest thing is to WiFi jack! Hahaha actually not, I am trying to search for surf-for-free spots around town. So far no luck. Maybe I will try again when I am parked somewhere stationery. Well, I have blogged with my Dopod 838, upload photos to photobucket etc. :)
Jess got me the new Dopod 838 and I am now looking like an Ah Beng with my precious clipped to my belt. Haaaa :D Taken a picture with it, oh did I mention? My phone's cam comes with flash!!! :D Well it's an early Xmas gift, THANKS!!! Well, I have been good and got her nice stuff too right?
Ok, got to go. Can't wait to see Jess. Ate with PR today for lunch and she's excellent company. Brought her to eat our favourite Chicken Curry but I think they had forgotten our order because we waited 40min for our food and gobbled it down in like 15 min. SEDAP! :D
