Chalet over the weekend!
It's my company's chalet.. but I didn't stay over.. I went for makan/bowling on Friday night (after that I met her at Tampines [free trip courtesy of K's wife] to watch "Be With You") and the BBQ on Saturday of which I over-ate and over-drank. -_-Well, gosu me managed to persuade Jess to go down for the BBQ and she quite enjoyed herself. :)
Be With You
Quite a silent movie with minimum dialogue.... Well, did I mention that we haven't caught a movie for ages? It's a pretty good movie but the part on 2 lesbians .. well I didn't feel it was TOTALLY necessary, besides including those 2 incredibly gorgeous gals inside for eye-candy. The acting is amazing, as not much dialogue was used and the only way they could portray their feelings and thoughts were through expressions. The amazing manipulation of light during filming had created the mood that Eric Khoo had intended to portray. He had, in certain scenes, turned up the warmth of the lighting to show its happiness and bliss, which in contrast to the opening scene, he had turned down the warmth and 'under-exposed' the characters to the light source that you couldn't really see their faces but only their actions and movements. It's a really nice film. So go catch it or buy the VCD. I am really proud of the director, because he is Singaporean and he is able to make such a beautiful movie. Well, even you don't like the 'artsy-fartsy' of it, there's still eye-candy and a very gentle and loving kiss shared between 2 beautiful people in love. :)
Sunday
Went over to Jess' place for lunch beacuse Mum went to Tg Pinang on Saturday. After that we met her old friend, QF for tea/coffee and bought Magic's titbits/canned food as well since we were at Parkway Parade. Saw 2 very adorable male Beagles (Well, I have that soft spot for dogs with floppy ears!) so sleepy looking and so cute that you feel like scooping up and kissing them with hugs.
Then got back, met Magic and my dad at the corridor. Magic greeted us happily. We brought her down to poo and she almost dirtied herself! [gasp] After that went back to nap a little in preparation for the Liverpool v Man U game which ended in a draw! The Blackburn v Newcastle game was going to end up like the former, then suddenly in the 2nd half, a goal was scored and it became a totally different game. Well, Owen scored.......... so that's really big news I guess. We then caught our usual "Date with a Vampire III" which lasted from 11pm - 1am.... We missed most of "The Apprentice" because of the Newcastle game!!! Oh well, for once, that irritant is fired. She's really quite annoying and too clever for her own good as she talks too much.
Today....
Nothing much.... Jess has loads of work.... My neck is aching with too much data-entry. t.t Anyway going 85 to eat! Yipee!!!
