Jess is ill! :( 2 days MC
Oh! It's the beginning of the new week and Jess is struck down with flu. Bad eh? Well, I think she got it from her brother. Poor her, slept so early yesterday then when she was crossing the road today on the back from the doctor's, she got almost knocked down by a TRAFFIC POLICE. Can you beat that? It was scary and I feared for her when she told me about it. -_-
Well, let's wish her a speedy recovery!
Anyway, today meeting old friend for lunch. So really glad. We will probably eat at Soup Spoon @ Raffles Xchange (just confirmed) so quite nice, as office air-con is darn cold again.

Well, manage to find out the chinese characters of my 2 gramps names and wrote them down on every first page of the incense offerings. Magic was very impatient and she keep running towards the lift landing. I had just brought her down as well for her walk but she was too impatient to wait for the joss sticks and candle to finish burning and gleefully barked at a teenage boy who was smiling at her. Some meanie she is.
So, I sent her up first then went back down to wait for a little while longer before burning the offerings in the big bin. I was burning my paternal gramps first then I just looked back and saw the whole bunch of my maternal gramps stuff catching fire! Gasp! I hurriedly picked up the flaming (green in colour thou) offering and placed them into and bin. I then proceeded to burn my maternal gramps stuff too... -_-a
Saturday...
Jess had to work, so Magic and I sent her off! ^^ After which she came back and we ate our mum's bee hoon (rather flavourful but quite scattered and minced), we went down Plaza Sing to do some grocery shopping. I finally caved in and cut my hair real short. Well, Jess was a little unused to it as she had not seen me with such short hair for a long while. Well, it's $10 cut and the "yes I want it short" was over-enthusiastically taken by the hairdresser! We did grocery shopping and hunger pangs came. Coupled with the rain, we stopped by at Piazze to have some finger food and drinks. Came back and had a earful from my mom regarding my length of hair (or rather the lack of it) and how unprofessional I looked.
Sunday...
B* kindly invited me to makan at a vegetarian restaurant and I was quite soaked when I got there. Walked all the way from Veerasamy Road whilst it was drizzling. Nevertheless, I managed to get there in one piece and enjoyed good vegetarian food with Tiger draft beer! w00t. Food's really good but weak me was feeling abit scorched with the spiciness! :D His elder daughter is very pretty, just like him and his missus. Very photogenic and smiles a lot. Of course, she's very naughty. I met C*'s daughter and she's quite a terror too. Her daughter is always bullying Granny it seems. Granny must walk, must carry her etc etc. Granny this, granny that. Heheheh make me miss my grandma a little. In fact our whole family had intended to visit grandma but I was too tired to go down. Maybe I will make a trip down this week to see her.

I thought it was close and could have gone either way. I didn't watch the first matchup but the games we lost were really close. It only shows that we needed more practice and were really out of touch. One of my players were feeling really stressed/blur and I only got to find out after I played with him v 1 pair of noob Singaporean guys. Well, I wished he's told me earlier :/ Schoolwork, with relationship stress, money issues etc has taken a toll on him. I wished I was more observant. Well, can't really tell when the only communication mode was online >.<
