The day after tomorrow
is Monday! Oh my, I really do deserve this rest tomorrow..... Been so sickly for the past 10 days. [Yes, more sickly than you Jess and you had like 3 days MC?] And had been working non-stop.
Well, we managed to catch the above-titled show on Thursday at a cheap $5 each. We caught it at Bedok's Princess cinema and we never seen the theatre so crowded before. :) It's a brillant show. Really good one. Go catch it if you are contemplating whether to watch it or not.
Well, I am still at work. Leaving soon..... I finally got my LAN login and password... I still don't have a lot of IDs/logins that I need to enable me to do my work wholy. Hmm I am understanding the work better. Hope to be full-fledged soon. :D
On the other hand, I am hoping for the other more coveted offer to materialise.... Well, 'why' you may ask? It's just me? Or that deep inate attachment to that company's culture that impressed me lots. Their own house doctor, indoor canteen and 2 tea breaks (very useful) and most importantly, good corporate environment. Remember the fiasca about employees (particularly of factory workers) using fake MCs from a Johorean hospital? Well, this company had many employees doing that and not only they didn't penalise them, they actually told them to own up and to stop doing so. I guess it's the American culture?
Well, you never know. Life is full of surprises. Ok, I am going off now. Going to "Si Ma Lu" Temple to give thanks and prayers for this fabulous job I am doing now.
