A day to remember
Just thought I would share about the Sunday I went down to temple to pray to my grandpa. Besides being the only grandchild to see him alive, I could remember how he was like before he was bed-ridden with stroke.
Well, talking about "hell money". There was this dream that my aunt had about grandpa. Grandpa told her not to burn too large denominations because when he shopped in the underworld, he was unable to get change. Some food for thought yea? I was looking around and saw a lot of peeps burning stuff with 14 zeros. LOLX. Anyway, we burnt in 1000 denominations mostly, and the gold and silver incense papers.
The temple was very crowded on Sunday, I also wonder why. We had to share table with 2 other families. They kept pushing their way.
Jess gave my family a lovely makan treat at Kallang Airport Road. Let me see, we had crabs, mussels, fish head, sweet potatoe leaves and we started off with dessert (chng tng and ice kachang) because we anticipated that we had to wait long for food. The dessert was cheap and good.
After that dad dropped us off at Parkway where my sis bought a very nice pair of heels. We also went Sam Yick to look at pets and the Husky is still there. Hope it goes to a good home soon. It's a very pretty-looking dog.
We went to Cold Storage to buy some groceries. A nice bottle of white wine which we shared with my sis and dad... and sis said it made her dizzy. hehehe
Today's a terrible day for me.. I woke up nasal and no voice. I went to polyclinic and had to wait 3 hours before I could get home. I bought sausage mcmuffin for me and my sis for breakfast, and we shared a huge packet of pig organ soup for lunch. *yum* I also bought cai fan for my dad but he's complaining? He said the food will turn bad...... I was like wtf lor.. buy for him le still complain. I said to him, "Then what you want me to do? Go out and buy later (nearer to noon time)??"
I am like omg lor.... So unappreciative.... then later he wolfed down the food at 12pm and he thanked me for it -_-"
I don't have voice now... so at least won't talk too much curry chicken nonsense. I will make my digit-buddy to eat vegetarian with me tomorrow.
Meanwhile, all of you take care, weather's bad atm. Tata~
