Ok, seems as if I have been a very bad gal..

Because I haven't been blogging? Well, too sianz to blog.. Anyway for the details, you can go to Jess' blog to see. She's pretty much done a marvellous job of describing the KL trip. Mostly her trip. More her and her and her again. All the shopping and stuff. Well, at least I managed to get my Samsung Earpiece for like RM10. That's quite cool, because I have been trying to find a compatible one which works and doesn't spoil on me in like 2 days.

We did nothing much from Tuesday to Thursday (9-11 March). Weather's been so wet that we ended up cooping ourselves indoors.

We went to catch a movie on Tuesday: The Butterfly Effect. It's as good as people said. Go catch it if you haven't. Certain parts of the show tugged at my heartstrings. Then went downstairs to Carrefour at Plaza Sing to get groceries. We bought the Miso Soup ingredients, mainly the bean paste (in paste form, not instant) and the dehydrated seaweed which expands marvellously under hot water. Cooked it twice. Lovely stuff. Definitely cheaper that the instant versions as the bean paste ($8) and the seaweed ($5) will last us like 40 times? Hahahah. Good deal IMO. Then after that we took a bus down to Jackson Centre at MacPherson to have bloodcockles and bbq stingray. Yum! We bought back Neo Hiang for Jess' folks. Nice! :) I think the Neo Hiang there is the best in Singapore le. Anyone who disagree pls let me know where else sells better ones.

Wednesday, we did absolutely nothing besides rotting. I was gged in the afternoon. :( As it was Jess' Dad's Chinese Birthday, Jess' mom cooked Mian Xian (mee sua) which I totally detest. :( I ate like hardly half my share of lunch and Jess finished it all? It had the nice stuffs like kidneys and mince meatballs. :/ Terrible me. Then after that, made our lazy way to my place. Watched Gods of Honour then lazily made our way down to.... TADA! Jackson Centre again. Kakaka. Now we had chilli crab! Finally! We haven't had that for like months! Yum! Delicious! Thinking of it makes me salivate.

Today ah..... Wanted to go out. Then suddenly the sky started turning really dark and poured like no tomorrow. Both of us so grouchy. Want to cook also cannot, because clothes are hanging to dry in my kitchen. Then got GGed again by some unknown force. Ended up sleeping much of my evening away. ~.~

Just thought I would mention this: I am crazy over the song "Emotions", the cover done by Destiny's Child. It all started with Chan He used to use it as his background song for his blog. :)

It's over and done,
but the heartache lives on inside (yeah yeah)
and who is the one you´re clinging to,
instead of me tonight.

~BRIDGE
And where are you now,
now that I need you,
tears on my pillow,
where ever you go go,
I'll cry me a river
that's leads to your ocean
you'll never see me fall apart

~CHORUS
In the words of a broken heart
it's just emotions, taking me over,
caught up in a sorrow, lost in the song,
but if you don't come back,
come home to me darling,
don't you know there's nobody
left in this world to hold me tight,
there's nobody left in this world to kiss goodnight,
goodnight (*4)

I'm there, at your side,
a part of all the things you are,
but you have a part of someone else,
you gotta go find your shinning star.

~BRIDGE
~CHORUS

~CHORUS
Goodnight (*3)

Hmmmm just realised that imagestation doesn't allow external links. Such a bitch!!!! But nevermind, that beautiful screenie of WoW will sit there until I find a sexier pic of myself. :)

Ok, here's the part everyone wants to read: About my KL trip!!

Saturday (6th March)

Got terrible problem getting up. Don't know whether lack of sleep or what. Just couldn't get up in the morning and adhere to our plan of going to JB to catch a coach down to KL in the morning. But no harm's done. We managed to hop onto the 3pm bus slot. Ate Niang Doufu at Merlin Tower. Great stuff! Yum. 2 cokes, 1 bowl of Niang Doufu and 1 large bao for only RM8! :) So happy! Then purchased the bus tickets for RM25 each. Cheap!!! Stupid bus from Singapore departs like twice a day and it cost like so much more. hng~ But the trip down was terrible. We had numerous toilet breaks... and a stupid jam at KL which really made us Kan Chiong. In all, we managed to reach our destination at 9pm! We walked from Pedu Raya Bus station, with no map nothing, just relying on what we experienced 3 years go. Just walked blindly and with good faith and hope, I managed to spot our hotel from afar. We gather ourselves and troughed towards it. We were pleasantly surprised at the exterior of Low Yat Plaza. The last time we been there, this shopping centre was really new [read: dead town] But it's occupied by some very happening establishments. Whilst I was smarting from the lack of soccer, the enthusiasm of going to Jalan Alor to eat was !!!. We ordered Bloodcockles, Cuttlefish Kangkong and mini spare ribs. Gobbled down the food as fast as they could serve us. We were really glad that we booked back the same *familar* hotel and it's in the Bukit Bintang area- prime town? After that, we went to the restaurant which was beaming soccer and had a jug of Tiger beer. Terrible experience. Not only it was expensive (same price as SG yo) and it was lao hong beer (gas-less) We had problems finishing the beer btw. But to catch soccer with my favourite club playing was bliss. And plus the company of my beautiful GF... :) Need I describe more? ^_^

Sunday! D day!

Tada! It's my birthday... and Jess' shopping day. We woke up rather late, so skipped our original plan of breakfast. Trotted down to KLCC in a taxi (thank goodness) and had KFC lunch! Wah! So filling! Someone had wanted to walk down KLCC! [gasp!] Luckily we didn't.... Quite a distance!!!! Basically walked the whole place and Jess bought like 4 pairs of shoes, 1 set of clothes and other stuff kaka. And plus the great sale was going on? Lots of stuff to shop!!! We almost wanted to watch movie there at the GV but decided not to. :P

Then we went back hotel to drop the stuff. And take a break. Jess promised to bring me go fine dining. hehe. So I was decked out in nice clothes.. and we decided to take a taxi down to Bangsar.. which I bought my earpiece. The place really is bustling! Like some mega pasar malam! They had everything... except cuts of meat. Veges, seafood and what else not. After walking a while. We bought some lovely bbq cuttlefish (zi he), some undies and Jess managed to get another shawl at a great price.

After walking, we walked towards the food establishments, then decided to settle down in a German Bistro. Bangsar is said to be the Holland V of KL. Indeed it is. :) A lot of nice pubs and all. We would have stayed longer if weren't for the noisy big bug that keeps flying into Sasa whilst Jess was shopping there. LOL! Then we hurriedly walked out of Sasa and flagged a taxi back... But instead we didn't go back room. We hung out at that terrible beer place and ordered 2 bottles of beer and watched some Serie A.

Monday- going home

I woke up really late as usual. LOL! Was watching TV the night before till quite late. We managed to squeese in some sight seeing. We went to KL's Chinatown and trotted down to Colisium. The KL Chinatown is really nice. Loads of clothes and shoes. To think of it, I regretted not getting any stuff from there as we were running low on cash and we haven't budgeted how to get to airport. GRR There are really nice imitations on sale but not cheap at all and you can't sign btw. LOL

The trip down to KLIA wasn't cheap. RM35 per person. Quite expensive if you considered that our flight was RM50. :/ But anyway, we didn't have enough cash, I went to withdraw. Then horror of horrors, our flight was delayed for 2 hours. I was like !@#!%$^$#&#%& because so darn irritated. The RM35 would have been more than enough for both of us to take a coach back to JB and most importantly, we would be back home before the sky is dark. I shall not describe the things we did at the airport because once I think of it, it makes me mad. GRRR.

Hope you enjoyed my short narration. Jess has done a much better job. Go see :)
