Today...
We checked out of the hotel, went straight to eat lunch at Wheelock Place's Sakae since we missed it yesterday! Coupled with a $30 voucher we attacked the food like a pair of wild beasts! Jess ate so much till our main attraction of Sashimi and Bento came, she couldn't quite tuck in anymore :P But anyway it was a good meal even thou I felt ill +_+
Then we took train down to Plaza Sing to watch "Out of time" starring Denzel Washington! Woah.. not too bad a show. :) Again! Using free tickets that Jess redeemed from her points!!! :) We truly enjoyed ourselves except for a bunch of pre-pubescent boys who talk loudly like they own the blardy theatre. I was about to turn around to give them a good piece of my mind then the show boomed into action! Can't hear them anymore! WAHAHHAHA
Then after the show ended, we took a terribly smelly and bumpy taxi back to her place which I almost puked due to the smell giving me a puking like headache!
Then upon reaching Jess' place, we saw this humongous hornet's nest! OMG! There are like 6-10++ half-paralysed green (Jess made me put the word green) caterpillars inside it when I poked the muddy nest. We couldn't find any hornet grubs but we didn't want to take the chance and cleared the whole corner which was below the promegranade plant. Some scary shit. The Hornet mother very nice and hardworking! She left so much food for her young! All the same juicy big catapillars! Gosh! Anyway, I shall stop talking about it as it's making my hair stand like earlier! Anyway, we cleared it all as we scared the young might mature and come into the houses and sting the rest of the residents!
V-day was wonderful....
despite everything going wrong? Well, nothing just seems to go right for me anyway -.- I was spending my whole week being ill, so bloody grouchy, then before I left the house, blardy dad didn't want to record the show for mom. Ok, spend another dunno how many minutes configuring the timer. ZzzZ. Then left the house, waited for like 20+ minutes for taxi when usually it takes less than 5 minutes? Blimmy! All the cabs with the "BUSY" red-lit signs mock at me as they zoom pass me in oblivion!
Then after waiting for some time, finally got a small taxi with the dumbest driver I have ever seen. He got the cheek to drive me to city hall and tell me that's raffle's city mrt. WTF? I said RAFFLES PLACE MRT! ok, so mad le, I don't want to make myself angry for this special day ;) So I just alighted at city hall MRT there then. F8ker!
Then the whole thing so screwed, I was terribly late, supposed to meet Orochi to pick up V-day flowers for my GF. Ended up she had to pick it up herself because I am so bloody late and paid him first. So paiseh... Orochi, if you are reading this, a BIG thanks to you and really SORRY for making you wait so long.
Then wanted to eat Japanese food for lunch, then didn't want to wait because so hungry so ate at the freaking expensive thai restaurant opposite it. Bad decision. Overpriced lunch and wanted to cheat us by serving something we didn't order. S$54++ for lunch is no-no when we hardly had 5 dishes.
Then checked in hotel, was so darn tired that we slept away till our dinner which I booked at Jack's Place. Ok, really bad things all happen as the stupid V-day menu is bad enough, but the worse thing is that their normally palatable food sucks! OMG! You should see everyone's glum face when they were tucking in. some S$38++ for some lousy food and then the manager STILL wanted to make me wait outside with the rest of the crowd even though I had a reservation. I mean, WTH lor? Then I reserve for what? Shit.... Then some more Man U playing Man City FA cup then I sibei dulan le.... because my hotel room beaming the match live... We should have just ordered food in and enjoyed our meal in peace......

But anyway, we were determined not to let it spoil our lovely day. We chatted lots and enjoyed each other's company tremendously. We saw 2 lovely golden retrievers at outside Taka there! So cute! Then as we found the bottle opener, we walked down to Paragon's 7-11 to get a small bottle of Linderman's Shiraz and some plain drinking water. Lolz. Earlier we bought beer from Bugis (6-pack Asashi) as we thought we didn't have the opener -_-"
Went back to room, then saw some documentary on "the fastest animals" on their local channel and enjoyed it very much even though we missed a bit of it? We were just enveloped in each other's company and soaked in happiness being able to spend private time together. Well, we are wowed over by the Cheetah's sexiness and the Tiger Beetle's pure burst of speed! As they put it,"The tiger beetle runs so fast till it runs itself blind!" It's really amazing.. :)
Then after that, Royal Rumble was on. HOHOHO! We enjoyed WWE too! It's Royal Rumble k? Not some silly event :P Then we saw Shawn Michaels aka Heartbreak Kid and I am amazed despite his balding hairline, he's still fit and agile as ever and still wrestling! OMG!
We didn't go pubbing/clubbing like we planned to, but didn't feel that we missed out anything? Maybe we really outgrew the age of chioning le... To me, chilling out at Barcelona watching soccer is good enough ^^v Which we wanted to do if I hadn't booked that wretched place! DRATS~!
That's about it, I hope you guys enjoyed your V-day too in your own special ways, be it with family or just pampering yourself :)
